I stayed at Emma-Jane for 5 months. She welcomed me with open arms and in the most wonderful way. I had an absolutely wonderful time in her home and with her family, who became more and more like my own. I couldn't have found a better room to stay in during my trip to this beautiful country. Emma is a good listener, always ready to help, cheerful, affectionate and respectful. She treated me like a member of her family, which is the nicest thing about staying with someone. I absolutely recommend her house which is very pretty and very well equipped, the bedroom and bathroom are spacious and just like the photos. The location is perfect with bus stops nearby for easy access to the CBD, if you don’t have a driver license like me.On top of that she has two wonderful, intelligent, funny and affectionate children who make this house all the more welcoming, as well as Charlotte the cat who loves to cuddle. I'm going to miss this house and this family very much, and if I ever come back to New Zealand I'll go back to them without hesitation!

Sandy is the loveliest hostess in a beautiful home. I deeply enjoy our chats and puzzle-building partnership. She is truly the best. The yummy bread for breakfast is delightful! The home itself is clean and very comfortable, in an excellent location. I cannot wait to return!

I'm just replying now, but 5 months ago I had a very pleasant stay with Sandy. What can I say about Sandy, she is incredible, funny and I have the pleasure of getting on even better with her after this stay. A true Kiwi: friendly. I'd just arrived after a 30-hour flight from Europe and she was fantastic in welcoming me and showing me around Auckland. Great advice and great conversations made my stay very enjoyable. I'd love to come back! Her house is also alive with music, you want to dance all day. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen all fit the description.
In short, you'll have a great time if you're passing through Auckland, with a wonderful view of the beaches of the Bays (Okahu, Mission etc).

It was a pleasure to stay at Beverley's place for 2 weeks. It is a nice and quiet area in Auckland, and Beverley was a very welcoming host who was always helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Auckland.

Jewel is the sweetest most helpful person i have ever met. Her rooms to rent are clean and very comfortable and the common areas are always kept tidy....I would recommend her accomodation to anyone seeking short term room rentals.

Verity and Karl were very welcoming into their family. The bedroom was comfortable and adjacent sit room / bathroom / garden well designed and set-up. We shared kitchen space & some meals. A perfect home stay! Ellerslie was an uninspiring suburb accessed by poor public transport and adequate supermarkets. Overall, a highly recommended home away from home. Thanks Verity and family!

It was a very comfortable and warm accommodation. The jewels were kind and quick to respond. They came barefoot to my house when we arrived late at night. Thank you very much.

Beverley, she is absolutely lovely, welcoming, and friendly.
She is very easy to be with.
We shared her home openly, including me in her lives. The single room totally has guests own private time. The shared bathroom, living room and a clean kitchen. Her cat, Miso is so cute, and friendly. But it's a bit far to some shopping mall. Around the house is perfectly a QUITE area. I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending her as a Homestay to future guests.

I cannot recommend Verity's homestay enough! I immediately felt comfortable and at home when I arrived. The room was by far the best room I've stayed in during my time in NZ. The bed was comfortable, the AC was a godsend, and there was ample storage to keep clothes or other belongings. The rest of the house was incredibly clean and functional. There is a downstairs lounge just for the homestay guests with a fridge, microwave, large couch and smart TV. All of this was made even better by how friendly and interesting Verity and Carl are. You can tell they truly care about their homestay guests. Their dog Jazz was also such a joy to play with! I would rate 6/5 hearts if possible!

Emma is a wonderful host, kind, attentive and always ready to help.
I had an excellent stay with her, her children (present half the time) and Charlotte, the cat.
The house is modern, clean, well-equipped and located in a pleasant & peaceful area, close to all amenities (bus and shops). The bedroom is spacious and the bed ultra-comfortable.
I recommend this accommodation, and won't hesitate to come back if I'm ever in Auckland again.

Very great family to stay with and extremely hospitable! I highly suggest staying with this family you will not be disappointed. She even made homemade facials and took me into town one of the nights. So so kind. They also have the sweetest dog that you will fall in love with.

Unfortunately I could not stay with Paul as I finished my business in New Zealand early, however Paul was very accommodating with regards to correspondence and extremely understanding that i could not make use of his facilities. I am sure that if I had stayed it would have been a good experience. I would definitely call on him again if I am in New Zealand again.

This is my second stay with Rosemary so it proves how much I appreciated this little independent home in the middle of the back garden. Shower, kitchen, comfortable bed, with also a private terrace, lots of light and surrounded by plants. Really cute. Rosemary is a very kind and helpful person who let you all the space if you need to or have conversation if wished. Thanks a lot and hope to come back again.

Mon passage chez Esther m'a permis de me reposer à Auckland, juste après mon arrivée.
La chambre d'Angle est relativement minimaliste mais convient parfaitement pour un court séjour.
Les parties communes sont propres tout comme la chambre.

Un peu à l'extérieur d'Auckland, comptez 1h minimum pour rejoindre les principaux sites d'intérêts en bus. Mais pas d'inquiétude, plusieurs arrêts sont présents à moins de 10min de marche de la maison. Ça se fait très bien.

Concernant Esther, c'est est une hôte extrêmement gentille, toujours disponible pour échanger au besoin.

They are very kind and you can get delicious home-cooked meals. The rooms are spacious and has plenty of storage space. It's also clean and comfortable.

Rosemary is the most kind, professional and helpful host. She was always immediately available for assistance. The room cottage is simple but very cosy and spot clean with kitchen facilities, private shower and toilet and with also a little private terrace. I stayed there for 3 weeks and will return again after my tour of New Zealand. I really felt like home after the busy city life of Auckland. I look firward to go back.

Jenny and her husband were so kind to me during my stay! She is extremely kind and helpful and loves to share knowledge!
I had everything I needed and I really felt at home! Jenny truly wants you to feel comfortable and like a part of the family!
