Firstly I want to say that thr owners where both amazing always there to help with any of our enquires. The location of the house very close to the city center only 20-25 minutes by bus very suitable for a couple of friends that looking something nice and cozy not far away from the city center but in a quiet location as well. The room it's self it's ok but the amenities that they offer is beyond me. Kettle espresso machine cappuccino cups tea cups teas coffees biscuits and many other things like a nice wardrobe fast internet robes slippers and the most important a nice clean bathroom with all the related of like towels etc. Lastly its was like we never saw them, didn't bother as at all. Thank you very much Ian and June we will be definitely back one day !!!

The room was spotless, and there was more than enough coffee, tea, and water.

The rooms are fantastic! Everything is perfectly coordinated!
Coffee, tea and other small items are available.
Everything you need is also available in the bathroom!
Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, cotton pads and even a hairdryer! You really didn't need to bring anything from home!

The location is also very nice for those who like it a little quieter.
Within a few minutes you are at a bus stop from where you can travel directly into the city, about a 30-minute journey. From there you can also get to Queensferry within 30 minutes.
There is also a bakery and a Tesco nearby where you can do your shopping.

We were incredibly happy with our stay and didn't want to leave.
My heart bled when we handed over the key!

Had a nice stay and Keith was so nice with everything. The apartment was really well located, close to the old city centre.
Would repeat in case of going back to Edinburgh!

My stay at Naheed was superb. She made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to help, even coming out from her home to meet me when I alighted my bus for my first time checking in. Her home is clean and neat, as was my room. Although there was no usual kettle in the room, it was not missed, as I was able to use the kettle downstairs to make a cup of tea and fill my flasks before going out each day. The location is clean and quiet and easily accessible, with several bus stops into town are only a few minutes walk away, they go to the town, coach and train station. Shopping Centre and shops, hills, and other amenites, are also close by. Naheed is kind and respectful and very approachable person. If I am ever in Edinburgh again I would definitely book to stay at Naheed's. Great value.

Jenni est une femme passionnante, généreuse et très chaleureuse. Elle sait créer une atmosphère à la fois apaisante et vivante, où l’on se sent rapidement comme chez soi. Toujours à l’écoute, elle partage volontiers ses conseils et ses bonnes adresses, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus enrichissant. Sa cuisine est un vrai régal, préparée avec amour. Et que dire de son adorable chien Tavish, un compagnon doux et attachant qui contribue lui aussi à l’ambiance accueillante de la maison. Deux mois passés ici, et l’impression de faire partie d’une vraie famille. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Our stay at Ian’s place was wonderful. The house was clean and cozy, and Ian has been friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend staying at his place while visiting Edinburgh!

If I hadn’t chosen this homestay for its location, I would have missed out on exploring the peaceful neighborhoods with their movie-like, small, and cute houses. Everything was so clean and well-kept. June and her husband were incredibly kind—they let us check in late and even store our luggage until late at night. The room was super cozy and had all the little extras, like coffee, tea, snacks, and more, beyond just the basic utilities. The bathroom was also fully stocked with everything you might need. It really felt like a home away from home!

I stayed with Naheed for 4 months and she has my warmest recommendations. She and her two sons are incredibly nice and ensure that you have a good time.

Monica and her family (two- and four-legged) are all wonderful. They made me feel very welcome and right at home and it was lovely getting to know them while I was there. They definitely made my time in Edinburgh extra special! The room and the whole house are very tidy and cozy and have everything one might need. I can only highly recommend staying with them.

Philip ha sido un anfitrion excelente. Cualquier cosa que nosotros le preguntábamos, él nos ayudaba. La estancia ha sido tal y como nos imaginamos. Nuestra habitación era ámplia y cómoda. La parada de bus y tramvia a solo 5 o 6 minutos caminando y el centro de Edimburgo a unos 20 minutos caminado.
Nosotros hemos estado muy bien en la casa de Philip y volveríamos a repetir.

A wonderful stay in a calm and cosy place. Near the center and all the facilities you need. You can talk about everything with Naheed and her sons, and they can give you advices on what to do and where to eat. Had pleasant conversations with them.

Great stay with Philip. He really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. The apartment is in the middle of the city. The tram and buses are a quick walk.

My son (11) and I were able to spend two nights in August with June and her husband. We felt completely at home and welcome from the beginning. June is a respectful, friendly and above all warm person and Iain is also a very nice person. The twin room had everything we both needed for our stay and the bathroom was great too, both very clean and well maintained. Everything was very comfortable and lovingly decorated. That's how you imagine Scottish hospitality. Thank you June and Iain. We would love to come back soon.

The stay with Jenni was fabulous.
The house, with a great garden, is lovingly furnished and in a nice neighbourhood. Jenni is a great hostess – on the one hand I had all the space and room I needed, on the other hand Jenni was always there and had an open ear, time for chats with a glass of wine and lots of helpful tips.
I would love to come back!

I loved being a guest in Naheed's house. Naheed and her son were exceptionally kind and helpful. the house was clean and tidy. No doubt, this will be my first choice for accommodation on my next visit. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

Great stay at June's place. Quiet area, good beds, nice bathroom, cleanliness. Easy to catch buses to the city's centre. June is really responsive and kind. Definitely rent it again.

June is a very welcoming hostess and attentive to our every need.its place is warm, welcoming and very clean. An address that I would have liked to keep jealously to myself . thank you very much for your welcome June who made our stay most enjoyable.

June's home was like staying in a 5 star hotel. We had are own privet door into the home, bathroom, and rooms from the rest of the house. Getting into the city was very easy and super convenient. I would recomend her home for everyone.

Moira is a wonderful experienced host with a warm welcome & made me feel at home straight away. Plenty storage in the bedroom, comfy bed & a warm clean sunny flat where you can share the kitchen, lounge & bathroom freely. The flat has a beautifully framed view of the Castle from the dining area but of course that comes with stairs so not suitable for the infirm.
