Verginia was very very friendly and accommodating. She even helped with my laundry as I needed. The room was nice on the top floor, the bathroom was new and clean. I could make coffee in the kitchen downstairs and a great coffee at "Luna" was nearby. Quiet area with a park & trees, not far from the city. The airport taxi cost 30euro but you probably can take bus if travelling light. I used bus 146 straight to few attractions like the City Gate, the Botanical Garden and Art Museums. Una estancia muy agradable. Tanto Daniel como Alina son personas muy atentas a cualquier necesidad del huésped tanto sea en lo habitacional como en datos necesarios para quien no conoce Madrid. Excelente!
Párrafo aparte para la preciosura de Mishu un gato muy especial y adorable . Su casa es muy bonita y se destaca la limpieza y el orden. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Lugar muy limpio y agradable, Gloria muy simpática y atenta en ayudarte en consultas o inquietudes. Lugar también muy céntrico de plaza España y muy cerca de 2 líneas de metro

Vanesa is a kind, friendly, and very organized lady and her room and home are incredibly clean and tidy. Her home is in a great neighborhood with easy access to the metro and buses. She was very helpful with information about Madrid, the area, and other things I needed. I would choose her room again if I were to visit Madrid again

It was a first experience for me abroad and with homestay. I am very glad.

Elena and her daughter are very sweet and generous people. Elena likes to have conversations with her guests and engage in a language exchange if possible. The host helped me acclimate to the lifestyle in Spain and gave me advice on where to go and what to see in the city. The only challenge was that commuting to the city center from her apartment was about 50 min. each way. The neighborhood is a quiet suburb with many families, a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan area.

Fue mi primera vez quedando en un Homestay, y lo pasé genial. ¡No seas nervioso como estuve yo al principio! Gabriela es anfitriona muy amable, y realmente le preocupa los demás. Me trataba como familiar. Gabriela, Rafael, y yo teníamos muchas conversaciones interesantes y abiertas, y me ayudaban mucho con mis habilidades de hablar al español, además de ajustarme vivir solo en un país nuevo. La vida cotidiana del barrio Chamberí es mono y me pareció muy seguro también. Hay muchos servicios y barras, y puedas conocer gente buena.
¡Y un saludito a Amanda, la princesa de Chamberí!

Vanesa was so kind and nice like an angel. Her sister was an angel, too. They are twin beauty. They're teachers and speak good English.
Her parents were also warmhearted and nice.
Her family made me priceless memories on the new year's eve.
With great traditional Spanish dinner, twelve white grapes while New Year's bell was ringing, and playing card games...
Her house was clean, comfortable and cozy. Metro and bus stop was very close and there was a supermarket was nearby. Everything was perfect.

Daniel was very helpful and met us at the exit of his Metro station which was 1 min from his house. The bedroom was comfortable with the bathroom right next door. The family were very helpful with advice for a trip to Toledo which was a highlight for us and advice for vegetarian options. Thank you Daniel, Olena and Alessandro. ( sorry if spelling wrong)

My stay with Daniel’s family was great- including Misu their delightful cat! Misu seriously stole my heart! I slept great, and they provided me with lots of advice and where to go. Y practicaba mi español!

There home is right next to a metro so it was really easy to get around. I was traveling solo, and if course safety was on my mind, but I felt incredibly safe in this neighborhood at all hours. Lots of restaurants nearby so you’ll have lots of choices. Glad this is where I started my 3 week trip! Thank you Daniel, Alina, y Alessandro!

Останавливалась в доме Даниэля в Мадриде во время своего путешествия по Испании. Очень милая маленькая уютная комната со всем необходимым. Даниэль и его семья очень дружелюбные и внимательные. Готовы помочь с любым вопросом, чтобы сделать ваше пребывание в Мадриде идеальным. Порекомендуют интересные места, как добраться, что посетить. Квартира находится в отличном спокойном районе в 2 минутах от станции метро. До центра и основных достопримечательностей можно добраться и пешком при желании. Комфортное пребывания, лучшие впечатления.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ms. Virginia's homestay for a week, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Ms. Virginia is a fantastic host—very welcoming and kind. The house itself is calm and quiet, providing the perfect environment for relaxation and focus without any disturbances.

Everything was very clean and well-organized, making it easy to feel at home. I appreciated the freedom to come and go as I pleased, with no interference during my stay. The location is also quite convenient; it’s just a 20-minute bus ride to the city, and the bus station is only a 5-minute walk away.

Margarita was always smiling and kindly taught me many things. I recommend checking with her in advance when using the kitchen, as it helps both of us enjoy a comfortable experience.

We stayed one week at Vanesa's apartment and we loved it. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Good beds and lots of storage room. We had our own bathroom and the kitchen was well equiped. We had also our loundry washed by Vanesa. She told us a lot of tips about Madrid and its surroundings. The hospitality was amazing. And the location was also perfect.

La estancia en la casa de Vanesa ha sido excelente. La casa es acogedora y bonita la habitación muy confortable y el colchón comodísimo. Las zonas comunes están siempre limpias. Vanesa es una anfitriona amable y dispuesta a ayudar en todo momento. La situación es muy tranquila y con todos los servicios muy cerca, además esta muy bien comunicada con el centro y zonas importantes de la ciudad. La recomiendo 100%

Mrs Virginia is a great Host. Very Kind , polite and co operative. Everything is clean and systematic in the house. House is well located with public transportation nearby to get to the city centre.

Dona Margarita was a wonderful host and provided a room and home that is clean, quiet and located in an ideal location to be able to walk to the historic centre of Madrid. Also very near public metro and bus lines. I enjoyed my stay and recommend Margarita.

Margarita is fantastic! Despite my very poor Spanish, the communication was very friendly and good! The apartment is very clean and tidy and is super central. Only 4 minutes to the nearest metro and various bus lines. It couldn't have been better.

Daniel, his wife, his son (and their cat Mishu) are an incredibly welcoming family. I felt like I was at a friends house....so, I have nothing left to say, I absolutely recommend staying with them and talking with them. For me, it is a huge 10/10.

Mercedes es la mejor anfitriona de Madrid. Era muy tranquila, acogedora y generosa. Me encantan todas nuestras conversaciones y ella fue parte de mi tiempo en Madrid tan perfecto. Asun is a wonderful host, she is very welcoming and helpful. She made me feel comfortable when I was moving in for the summer, and helped me acclimate to a new country. She helped me get a transit card, showed me around Alcorcon, and showed me how to make a couple Spanish dishes! I still had a lot of free time to explore Madrid on my own, and this homestay was the perfect way to go.

I had an excellent experience staying with Leonor. She is a lovely lady and has a very nice home which is very clean and comfortable. Leonor made me feel very welcome and helped me with my Spanish. The area is very safe and close to the metro. Highly recommended!

Tuve una excelente experiencia hospedandome con Leonor. Ella es una señora encantadora y tiene una casa muy bonita, muy limpia y cómoda. Leonor me hizo sentir muy bienvenida y me ayudó con mi español. La zona es muy segura y cerca del metro. ¡Muy recomendable!

Arancha and her family were wonderful hosts for our son! He is a rising Junior in college and came for an 8 week study abroad program. Arancha helped him figure out metro, helped him with his Spanish, and was so easy to work with in arranging everything! We feel like we have a new friend in Madrid and can’t wait to go meet her too!
