Mercedes es la mejor anfitriona de Madrid. Era muy tranquila, acogedora y generosa. Me encantan todas nuestras conversaciones y ella fue parte de mi tiempo en Madrid tan perfecto. Nunca he conocido a un anfitrión que sea tan generoso. Espero tener la oportunidad de volver a quedarme en su hermosa casa!

Asun is a wonderful host, she is very welcoming and helpful. She made me feel comfortable when I was moving in for the summer, and helped me acclimate to a new country. She helped me get a transit card, showed me around Alcorcon, and showed me how to make a couple Spanish dishes! I still had a lot of free time to explore Madrid on my own, and this homestay was the perfect way to go.

I had an excellent experience staying with Leonor. She is a lovely lady and has a very nice home which is very clean and comfortable. Leonor made me feel very welcome and helped me with my Spanish. The area is very safe and close to the metro. Highly recommended!

Tuve una excelente experiencia hospedandome con Leonor. Ella es una señora encantadora y tiene una casa muy bonita, muy limpia y cómoda. Leonor me hizo sentir muy bienvenida y me ayudó con mi español. La zona es muy segura y cerca del metro. ¡Muy recomendable!

Arancha and her family were wonderful hosts for our son! He is a rising Junior in college and came for an 8 week study abroad program. Arancha helped him figure out metro, helped him with his Spanish, and was so easy to work with in arranging everything! We feel like we have a new friend in Madrid and can’t wait to go meet her too!

I loved my five-month Erasmus experience at Rosana.
The apartment is very pleasant and bright, there's everything you need in the kitchen, and the bedroom is also well-equipped with storage space.
The neighborhood is quiet and so are the neighbors, so it's ideal for relaxing.
In summer, from June 20 onwards, you can also take advantage of the swimming pool.
The neighborhood is residential, and the bus stop for the metro is just across the street. There's also everything you need for shopping (3 supermarkets).

Rosana is a very sympathetic woman, who always gives good advice on things to visit in Madrid and Spain in general, good addresses to know, the latest interesting exhibitions, etc.
Thanks to her, I've also made a lot of progress in Spanish, and discovered Spanish culture. It's all been very positive.

I have a very pleasant stay with Arancha and her family and was made to feel very comfortable. It was a fantastic environment in which to practice my Spanish. The apartment is in a quiet residential suburb so the room is very quiet.

Me encantó vivir con Mercedes durante 5 meses. Su hogar está ubicado en un sitio perfecto y muy seguro en el centro de Madrid. Siempre me sentí cómoda y como si estuviera en mi propia casa. Mer me recibió con brazos abiertos y siempre estaba ahí cuando la necesitaba. Si pudiera estar en Madrid otra vez, definitivamente me quedaría con ella. Mer se ha convertido en una amiga que seguramente visitare en el futuro. Gracias por todo, Mer! Besos!

I stayed with Mari and Manolo during my study abroad semester and it was absolutely fantastic! They are both wonderful people and will help you settle into Madrid from day 1. The flat is really nice and clean and is a 3 minute walk from the metro station. Via metro, it takes 20-25 minutes to reach the center of Madrid and 40-45 minutes to reach UC3M Getafe where I was studying. I opted in for the weekly dinners that Mari cooks and every plate was super delicious and it was rarely repetitive. Moreover, as a student obtaining a degree in Spanish, I can confidently say that my Spanish in terms of speaking improved more over the last 4 months than my entire university career in the US. Getting to know both Mari and Manolo was wonderful and homestaying with them was one of the best decisions of my study abroad experience. Fue una gran experiencia que nunca olvidaré. ¡Muchísimas gracias Mari y Manolo!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Rocio ! L'appartement est très agréable, calme, propre et bien situé. Rocio est une hôte parfaite, présente et discrète. Je reviendrai chez elle avec plaisir.

The only problem was that after a 13-hour flight, I had to stay in the city until 5:45 with my luggage.
Check-in 17:45 - Check out 12:30. (Of course, Vanessa kindly kept my luggage until 6:30)

Muito prestável, pronta a ajudar.
Habitação fica a 400 metros do metro, e zona de habitação calma.
Perto, tem restaurantes lojas e um centro comercial. Gostámos muito. Excelente preço. Quartos pequenos (normal nestas grandes cidades ,mas muito limpo e cheiroso.)
Tinha internet embora não usássemos.
Aconselhamos muito, preço muito bom.
Fantástico. Ficámos quatro dias.

José and Asun are very welcoming and kind hosts. I felt at home with them. They make sure we have everything we need and we do! Asun even offered to share a paella together and teach me how to cook it on the last day. The apartment is also very nice and clean.

Muy buena la experiencia con Daniel y su familia. Nos trataron muy bien y nos dieron asesoramiento en todo lo que preguntamos. Sin dudas los aplausos se los llevó Misu el gatito, que siempre nos recibía y saludaba!! Sin duda muy recomendable. Gracias.

I stayed with Daniel for a few nights in Madrid and he was an absolutely excellent host. He made sure everything was in order for my stay, his house was extremely clean and tidy and him and his family are wonderful people. He gave excellent recommendations and, since I’m trying to learn Spanish, he made a conscious effort to speak Spanish slowly and clearly to help me. Of course, him and his family speak English very well too. He is also a super interesting guy! I strongly recommend staying with Daniel - 5 stars!

Nuestra estadía en casa de Daniel, fue super, muy confortable, todo muy limpio, ubicación perfecta. Daniel y su familia muy amables, serviciales y nos ayudaron en ubicaciones en Madrid. Recomendable 100 %.
Cuando vuelva a Madrid me volveré a hospedar allí.

Rocio es la anfitriona perfecta ! Ayuda y aconseja a sus huespedes, lo cual agradezco mucho. El ambiente en su casa es muy agradable, por lo que uno se siente muy comodo.

Mari Paz y Manolo son los mejoras anfitriones del mundo! Cuando decidí vivir en España, estaba muy nervioso a vivir con gente la que no conocía. Ademas, porque no sabía mucho Español (al principio), estaba preocupado de que la experiencia sería incómodo y muy difícil. Mari Paz y Manolo te dan la bienvenida a su hogar y te tratan como a familia. Y también sus hijos son increíbles… la primera semana que yo estaba en su casa, teníamos una fiesta por la noche de los reyes, y la familia entera me hizo sentir aceptado.

Te van a ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesitas. Son excelentes profesores de Español… muy pacientes y útiles. Y si no quieres hablar en Español, igualmente te ayudarán. Ademas… la ubicación está muy cerca del centro.

Finalmente, muchas cuentas en HomeStay no tienen reseñas. Al principio, era una de mis preocupaciones, porque no había utilizado la aplicación. Mari Paz y Manolo solo tienen reseñas increíbles, y todo es la verdad. No lamentarás nada si los escojas!

Rocio was a wonderful host. Despite her busy schedule, she was available for questions and made sure I would enjoy the best of Madrid. The location is very convenient, and it was easier to walk to Prado museum than take the metro. A 24hr Carrefour stou

Ha sido una gran y grata experiencia habernos alojado con Daniel y su familia!! Desde que llegamos estuvo preocupado por que nos sintieramos a gusto y puso cada área de su hogar a nuestra disposición.
Las charlas nocturnas hicieron muy amenas las cenas y pudimos compartir un poquito de nuestras culturas. Gracias por hacernos sentir como si hubiésemos llegado a casa de Amigos de toda la vida!!

Josiane was a great host! Very nice and hospitable. Provided anything you needed and gave me a lot of good advice about Madrid. Highly recommend staying with her and Isaac!

Great for a short stay in the city as it's very close to the city centre.
I was away most of the time so didn't get to talk to Rocio but she gave me a very warm welcome :) I felt comfortable and slept really well. Good mini break.

My stay at Elena's place was very nice and comfortable. The room is spacious, luminous and comfortable. It was also a plus to have a private bathroom.
Elena lets you use your own fridge as well so that is very practical to cook your meals and be independant. I recommend it !

Josiane is very nice person. She is always ready to answer all your inquiries and any questions you have in your mind in the city or anything else.
Unfortunately I didn’t meet her during my stay, but she was replying to me by whatsup messages.
I recommend any visitor to Madrid to choose her house for a stay.
