My stay with Dana and Caleb was amazing! They are incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly people and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived :) I would highly recommend!

Madeleine and her Husband are amazing lovely people. I had a great time at their place, and felt welcomed from the very beginning! I had my own room (small and a bit dark but with a good bed and TV and storage), and shared the toilet and kitchen with them. The house is very clean, and I felt at easy cooking and spending time in the house. The location is perfect!

Marah was like an older sister to me—warm, caring, and incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to assist me with anything I needed, always with kindness and patience. Her home was perfectly situated, offering both a sense of safety and excellent convenience, with the metro within walking distance and easy access to buses. If I ever find myself in New York again, staying with Marah would be my first choice without hesitation.

Eva was an amazing host! She was incredibly kind, helpful, and made me feel right at home from the start. She was always available for any questions and offered great local tips. Her hospitality made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend staying with Eva!

Amazing host! I stayed for the whole month of September and never had any issues! Perfect location, with everything you need on your doorstep, food, bars & a subway train. The dogs were adorable and so well behaved, would definitely recommend this host & accommodation! 10/10

I was staying with Jorge from Middle of October to December 2023 for my research stay at Cornell. Jorge and his Son Gabriel made my time in New York so much better since they were so incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home and like part of their family. They both went above and beyond to help me and ensure my stay was comfortable, always available for questions. Their hospitality truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend staying with Jorge and Gabriel if you want a place with a friendly host, bathroom and kitchen rules that make the place clean and organised, a big bright room you can withdraw to if you need some solitude and a place with good connection to the subway and a cool safe neighbourhood with close by cheap grocery shops.

I had the most amazing stay, I felt really welcomed, Judith and Neal are carrying and always good company, I can only recommend!
Let's not forget... I never thought I could experience nyc in such great conditions, the house is lovely with a lot of space, the neighbourhood is beautiful and calm and it's really close from the subway:)

Delia is a wonderful host, she actually spent time to give me advise on where to visit in the city.
The department is exactly the same as on pictures, cozy and super clean!!

Spending a month at Linda's was great. The room is in a well located area near 2 subway stations, queens center mall and various shops. Going to Manhattan is easy and less than 30 minutes away. The neighborhood is calm and I wasn't really worried, walking back at night.

Linda is a warm and accommodating host who will help you make your trip go as smoothly as possible. She is easy to contact and answer quickly.

I would recommend Linda to my friends. You can book with closed eyes!

Madeline and Louie were wonderful hosts. They made me feel at home. Madeline was really helpful and reactive to my messages or my requests. Louie is super funny! They both are very warm and easy to talk to. I definitely recommend their home, and hope to be back!

Nous étions hébergés chez Anthony et son épouse pendant 11 nuits. Ce sont des hôtes adorables et surtout très disponibles. Anthony nous a fait visité le quartier pour visualiser où se trouvaient les supermarchés, l'arrêt du bus et la station de métro. Il nous a même accompagné pour acheter la métrocard ! Nous étions 5 et le logement correspondait à nos attentes. Le quartier est assez vivant et populaire, cela nous a permis de se rendre compte de la vraie vie américaine. Pour se rendre à Manhattan, il y a le bus à proximité qui nous emmène à une station de métro. Bus plus métro, il faut compter environ 1h pour se rendre à TS à 1h30 de trajet pour aller à Harlem. 30 à 45 mn pour le sud de Manhattan. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement. Anthony et son épouse ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable, merci beaucoup !

Dana and Caleb are each one those rare human being that exude warmth, kindness, and respect to all they meet. They are two wonderful people and I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet and get to know them. This was an exceptionally good homestay because they made me feel like I was at home. I was very lucky to find them and would absolutely stay here again. Ten hearts! (Just wait for the berry pancakes!)

London's room was perfect for our stay in Brooklyn - clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, close to the subway and many local bars, clubs, and food places. London was very easy to communicate and arrange things with. Would be happy to stay there again!

We had the best experience at Sharon's home!!! Everything is as described. The zone is fantastic. The room and bathroom surprisingly big and comfortable. Great natural light and air. Quiet day and night. The kitchen was perfect and very useful. Hot water worked like a charm. Not one negative thing to say. Sharon was very helpful. Can't wait to go again.

The stay at Laurie’s was extremely pleasant, the house is very clean and located right outside of the subway station. Laurie is a very helpful, flexible and kind host. 100% recommend.

London's space was the perfect pad for my stay in Bushwick. I was within a few blocks or a quick Uber ride away from every show/club I planned on going to. The apartment was clean and convenient, it was close to the main street and subways, and I look forward to staying there again!

What a great stay! Very comfortable, lovely and clean house. Nenita is a great person, ready to help and taking care for every detail. Location is very flexible and safe.

You have got many shops nearby (after leaving the house you can go left or right) such as Laundry, Dollar Tree, Taco Bell in one direction and Top Tomato, Pizzeria, Restaurants, etc. in the other direction).

Not so far from ferry station (every time we got instant 78S bus to Staten Island Ferry Station and than free ~20 min to Manhattan).

I felt very comfortable with Eva. She is a very nice person and helpful. Everything is clean and tidy. She also showed me the neighborhood and where I could shop. The train to Manhattan can be reached very quickly by bus. If I come back to NYC, I will stay here again.

Judith is super kind and accommodating, she's very firm on her rules but never unreasonable. I'm staying long-term for a semester with her and I've never had any issues with her or felt so restricted, just follow the house rules and double check with Judith and Neil if you're ever unsure, and it's a LOVELY stay. Judith is also a great conversationalist I should say, I really love talking with her about random things. The house is great too and everything's very convinient

I had a great stay with Jehiah and the two other roomates - super nice guys. The apartment is also very nice and big, and kept very clean. The room is beautiful and spacey. It is also a really nice neighborhood and quiet at night as well. It is easy to get to Manhatten with the subway. I would definitely recommend staying here and would like to come back some day!

I loved staying at Nivea’s. The room was spacious and undoubtedly clean. You have toiletries and dental kits at your display if you forget to bring them from home. The subway station for the Q that will take you straight into Manhattan is around the corner and will also connect to the LIRR into JFK airport. I felt very safe in the area walking around at night. I recommend staying here.
