About the Homestay
Hello! My name is Irin. My family (my husband and I) lives in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor (with a lift) in a quiet and green part (there is a big beautiful garden square in front of the house) of the historical centre of Saint Petersburg. You can easily get to any of the breathtaking sights of our city (13 bus stops to the Hermitage). You can walk to an amazing embarkment to admire the views of the Neva River. A lot of shops, cafes are close to our house, as well as many public transport stops.
There are two rooms that we offer you staying in: Pink Room and Green Room.
The room rate includes washing machine usage and internet access, you may also use the kitchen (cooker, microwave oven and fridge). We ask you to clean up right after your cooking (wash the dishes, clean the cooker and the sink).
We speak English and Russian.
We prefer long bookings, because we like getting to know our guests better. Students are welcome to stay with us (the location is great for them and we always can practice Russian together).

I spent about two months and half living with Irin and her husband.
It was a magnificent experience. The couple was always willing to help me when I had some problems or I just need some help, especially for the first period.
besides Irin helped me some nights to practice my russian for a test at school and I can't be more grateful to her for her help.
The apartment is quite small but there is everything you need and it's located in a quiet place.
Irin was an excellent host! They are great with logistics, helping with finding where things are, and any questions you may have. If you are looking to become a part of everyday life, this is one of the best options in St. Peterburg!
Good location, very safe, clean, nice people, can give you advice to help you enjoy the city.
A lot of cafes and amenities are around. Public transport stops are very close.
I enjoyed staying with Ira and her family for seven weeks in their quiet apartment. The room is good, breakfast variated and tasty, and the couple are very nice and helpful. The placement is also very good, easy access to the metro system by bus or trams.
I stayed here for 4 months while on study exchange. Very kind and super helpful young Russian couple that made my stay in Russia delightful.
Lovely russian couple who welcomed me when I was settling in St Petersburg. Really nothing to complain about. I appreciated nice conversations and russian breakfast to start the day.
No wonder you'll be in good hands!
