Helen has very friendly house in a beautiful place and she is the best cook and kind person for any guest. I highly recommend this choice

Helen is lovely, very helpful, caring lady, easy access to bus services less than 2 minute walk to stop. Mattress and pillows in the double single room need replacing, just a,bit hard and uncomfortable.

I loved staying with Helen. Not only her house is absolutely gorgeous, full of beautiful decorations and you feel like living in a palace but Helen is friendly and welcoming person too. And excellent cook, the meals she served us (there were three Swiss boys staying in the house while I was there) were mouth-watering and really delicious. The room was cosy and I slept so well, best for a long time. The area is quiet and with great connections to the city centre. And last but not least - this was my first taste of Edinburgh and I have fallen in love. What a gem of a city!

Helen was wonderful. She was attentive and kind. I brought my 5-year-old along, and she was great with him. Her house was tidy and welcoming. She gave us great tips on visiting Edinburgh, too. Thank you, Helen!

I'd give 5 hearts, if only the house had been a little closer to the city center (then of course it had cost more) But despite it:
I LIKED THE HOUSE, I ALSO LOVED HELEN / SHE WAS LIKE A GRANNY SEND DOWN FROM THE HEAVEN / THE BREAKFAST WAS FULL, SO SAD I MISSED DINNER / BUT NEVERTHELESS I DIDN'T GET THINNER / THE ROOM SMALL BUT COSY, I SLEPT LIKE A BABY / MY WEEK WENT SO WELL, THANK YOU, WARMHEARTED LADY.Host reply

Helen was a very kind and flexible host, served us great meals that were plenty for us even with my two teenage sons. She also talked about her fascinating hobby. The location is great as the bus stop is very close to the house. The rooms are not too spacious, but we slept very well. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

Our time with Helen in Brunstane Edinburgh was wonderful. Helen is a very friendly and helpful person and she is a very good cook. Helen prepares a very good breakfast and a delicious diner. Her house is located in a quiet area but good connected to the public transports. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable with enough space for us and our luggage. We are looking forward to our next stay in her homestay.
