My name is Catherine and I am in my late 20's. I am a Primary school teacher and enjoy socialising with friends in my spare time. My boyfriend stays with me at my flat regularly throughout the week. We love to travel and would enjoy hearing about your adventures.
My flat is in the south side of Glasgow and is a 10 minute train ride from Glasgow City Centre. There are also regular buses right outside the flat door as well as Nextbike facilities just across the road which allow you to hire out bikes with multiple spots around the city where they can be returned.
I live in a neighbourhood with good local amenities, there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the flat.
Queens Park is also a short 5 minute walk and is perfect for a walk - with excellent views of the whole city. It also has tennis courts and a pitch and putt.
I love Glasgow and enjoy meeting people and recommending places to see.
I offer a double room. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and make use of the cooker, fridge, washing machine etc.

About the Area
My flat is located in the South Side of the city about 3 miles from the city centre. Bus links are right outside the door and the train station is a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The New Victoria Hospital is immediately opposite as is the Langside campus of Glasgow Clyde College.

I ask that people please keep my home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house.
I am happy to adjust the heating but please speak to me to do this.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
Please do not invite strangers into my home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance.
Please enjoy your stay and treat my flat as you would your own home!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
