About the Homestay
Hi, we are a local Chinese family living in the South-eastern part of Singapore, 5 minutes' car drive to Central Business District/Marina Bay areas/Changi Airport, short bus rides to MRT Stations and we have great amenities at our doorstep because there are large shopping malls nearby. We welcome international working professionals and students to stay with us.
A minimum 3 months' rental is mandatory because in Singapore, any rental period less than that is illegal. If you key in 'airbnb', 'new zealand', 'singapore' and 'the straits times' in google, you will read 2 local newspaper articles reporting on tourists stranded at a condo because their rent period was less than 3 months. Articles on 15 March 2018 and 16 March 2018.
I had no choice but to reject all previous requests to stay with me because so far, none of the requests met the minimum 3 months' requirement by Singapore government law and I do not wish to take any risks to break the law.

Our home is within walking distance to 2 major shopping malls along east coast, 10 minutes' ride to nearest MRT train station, 20 minutes bus rides to Orchard Road and Marina Bay Sands, Changi International Airport. International Schools nearby: Canadian International School, Chatsworth International, Global Indian International, Eton International, Sekolah Indonesia Singapura.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Take good care of my furnishings such as wall mirrors, cabinets, newly painted walls.
Flush toilets properly after each use.
Rinse the newly installed sinks properly after each use.
Wash utensils and crockery after cooking, keep kitchen clean and dry.
Dispose rubbish every night.
Close all glass-doors, switch off aircon, all electrical appliances (except fridge) when not at home.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
