My daughter and I live in a two storey terrace house near a park and a short walk away from the bus and train stations. We have a rabbit that sends us off when we go out and runs to the gate to welcome us home.
I currently have two female occupants living with us, one retired and the other is working (2 rooms are available). I love cooking and my daughter picked up baking when she studied in Australia (think macarons, cheesecakes, and local delights such as kueh lapis). The tenants are also good cooks. We organise potluck every now and then so you'll be in for a treat!
I am a Taiwanese who brought my daughter here to study when she was 2 years old. Although the weather here is a bit warm, it is a safe place with a high quality bilingual education system that builds a solid foundation for tertiary studies anywhere else in the world.

About the Area
Our house is located in a quiet area near a park but it is also a short walk away from the bus and train stations which are bustling with people. It is awfully convenient with a 24 hours supermarket, 3 food courts, bakeries, and clinics surrounding the train station. There is also a community centre in the area, where you can gym, book a court for badminton, or sign up for an asian martial arts class.
It is also one train station, or a few bus stops away from Tampines, which has 3 mega-shopping malls with cafes, restaurants, a cinema, post office, banks, pharmacies, and a public library. There is also a giant supermarket called 'Giant' (the local version of Carrefour) and Ikea two buses away (for those who enjoy decorating their nest or Ikea's famous Swedish meatballs as much as I do).
