We are a working farm in the Eastern Highveld of Mpumalanga, known as the grasslands of SA. Beautiful open space to take an early morning walk or explore the farm on your own pace. Mpumalanga is the Zulu name for "the place where the son rises". The cosmos flower is well known in the Highveld region and the best time to view this spectacular wild flower is during March to April. We are only an hour's drive from OR Tambo international airport. Ever wondered how we live and work in SA, come and explore. If the African sun touched your skin, you won't want to leave again.

About the Area
The farm is located 20 minutes from the closest town. Renting a car would be a good option to explore the surrounding area, nearby towns less than half and hour's drive from your home stay.
Secunda has all the luxuries, golf course, shopping mall, lovely small shops to explore and restaurants. Every Friday and Saturday we have live entertainment at a local eatery. Cozy, with outside tables and local food and beer to fell in love with.
If you feel adventurous, consider a road trip. Go see "God's window", Mac-Mac waterfall, or be a dare devil and go bungi jumping.
South Africans are well known for our warm hospitality, come and see for yourself.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
