Ken and Lauraine live on a large property with three cottages. Each cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and open plan living lounge and dining area as well as a well fitted kitchenette. We rent out to guests, share good company with them, tell them all about our area and hope they enjoy their stay with us. We are close to golf courses, shopping centres wine estates and the " Mother City " Cape Town. The children are living in Australia with their children and so we have plenty time on our hands!

About the Area
From Cape Town International Airport follow the signs to SOMERSET WEST, This will take you onto the N2. Your back will be facing Cape Town and you will be on the left hand side of the National road with the right hand side traffic going into Cape Town. Carry straight on the N2 for about 29.5 Km and then you will come across turnoff signage R43 to STELLENBOSCH and BROADWAY BOULLAVARD / STRAND. Take that off ramp and SYAT in the LFT LANE at the top there is a traffic light. Turn LEFT and you will carry on until you reach a shopping centre and houses on the left and ON THE RIGHT SIDE houses. Get into the RIGHT land and TURN RIGHT at that set of traffic lights. You will see a wall with SOMERSET WEST on it. You are now in MAIN ROAD. Go through another three sets of small traffic lights and about 800m after that there is a GREEN SIGN BOARD marked M9E (Upper Orange Road) Turn into this road and take the bend. Once you have straighten you will see a road running down to the right (QUINAN ROAD). There are houses on the left and a large park on the right. Drive down to the 4 way stop sign and the 2 blocks after that you will see a house with a large green wall on the corner on the right. Guess what you have found us! 40 Winks Accommodation. House Rules
Please keep the electronic entrance gate locked at all times as well as the side gates as we would not want "The Duke and Duchess of Westrdidge" to run into the street and get run over by a car. They are the two resident dogs on the property.
You are welcome to come and go as you like as you will have your own cottage. We will make arrangements with you daily to have chats, meals and so on unless you want to explore some of the beautiful countryside during the day or have a fantastic tasty meal restaurants in the evenings.
Just beware of having to much wine when visiting the Wine Estates!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
