Olievenhoutsrus Guest- and Game Farm is situated in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere within a 2 hour drive north of Pretoria.
We have 5 separate cosy, thatched Cottages in a beautiful garden area, offering great game and birdviewing opportunities.
Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette or full kitchen for self-catering and with a braai/barbeque area. Size of Cottages range from 1 to 3 bedrooms with bathroom, lounge & kitchen.
Complimentary coffee, tea, traditional South African rusks as well as wifi is provided!
Enjoy a walk around the farm, book a game drive, take a swim in the sparkling outdoor pool or just relax with a book in the shade.
The friendly resident owners will be glad to advise you where to go and what to see in the area! We speak English, German and Afrikaans.

About the Area
Our Game Farm is conveniently situated in the heart of the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere just a 10 minute drive from Vaalwater where you find restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, curio shops, petrol stations etc.
Also a great sleep over when travelling to and from Botswana, no 4x4 vehicle required!

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
All our rooms are strictly non-smoking rooms. A service fee for special cleaning will be charged if necessary.
Pets are not allowed unless special arrangements have been made with the owners and only one of our Cottages is pet friendly. Please enquire for further advice!
No loud music please.
The Olievenhoutsrus Guest- and Game Farm policy which you will receive on arrival will apply at all times.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
