Nice, wide house located not too near or far from the downtown area.
We have good access to transportation (two bus stops and two subway stations close to the house) and we have several bakeries, eating houses, 24-hour Convenience stores and supermarkets near our house.
We are 20 min away from Jongro, 20~25 min from Myeongdong, 20 min from Ewha and Shinchon, 40 min away from Gangnam and 30 min from Hongdae.
If you have other place you would like to go, I could tell you the easiest way to get there or tell you about other places for shopping or site-seeing that maybe you haven't heard of.
We have a very friendly family. My Mom is an English teacher, so you will have no problem communicating. My little brother, who's 13, is really enthusiastic and cute. He loves people, gaming and music. I am sure that they will make your Home stay experience special; like a real family :D
I am currently studying in America, but I will be supporting and helping, answering questions so that your trip will be convenient and fun!
We currently have two rooms available. Both of them has a bed that can fit 1 ~2 people, a dresser, a night light and all the essentials. Additionally, both of them are located right next to the front door, and the bathroom is just a few steps away!
Bathroom are always checked and kept clean. So don't worry! And you are free to use the kitchen and the laundry machine! Unfortunately, we do not offer any meals - usually not even a light breakfast - as my mom is a working mom, and she can't be home all the time to take care of meals. We apologize! If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.
We would really appreciate it if you could leave us a little introduction about yourselves, and why you wanted to come to Korea! As hosts, we'd like to know our guests better :)

*Unfortunately, I do not help guests look for jobs within Korea! Sorry :/ (as I have been asked multiple times)

Seohee and her family are great. I had an amazing time in South Korea and felt very welcomed by them. I strongly recommend their house. The place is also cozy and the neighbor very nice! The subway is near and there’re good places to eat around.

My homestay with Surhi was more than comfortable! It’s a cozy apartment in a convenient location. She and her son are incredibly kind and I felt very welcome in their home. I almost feel homesick after leaving Seoul, that’s how much I loved my experience. :) Next time I take a vacation, I hope to book a room here again.

It was my first time staying at a homestay and I was a little bit worried of bothering the family but there was honestly no need to! Eventhough seohee was busy with her exams in the states she managed to prepare me for my arrival in Korea and answered all questions patiently. The room I stayed in was lovely and I felt comfortable (: you will stay with her mother, brother and maybe another guest. The location of the homestay is good, too. It’s near by a subway and bus station and it’s easy to get around Seoul. There are also some shops, restaurants and cafes very close to the home.

Location:
The location we stayed in was convenient for us because It's within walking distance to the train station which takes us to all the places we needed to go in Seoul.
To get to the house we did need to walk up a steep hill but in my case I think it's all worth it.
Local:
There are lots of nearby restaurants and small shops that isn't swarmed in tourist so it's great of you want to be in a more local environment.
Room;single bed with toilet within:
The room we stayed in and the toilet within the room was clean and tidy. There was enough space in the closet to put my belonignings and my friend's things too.

Dong Ocks and Surhis homestay is large, comfortable and very well located, about 5 min
by walk to Hong Kong St. (line 3). There are a few minutes by subway to many tourist attractions.
Varied choice of restaurants, cafes and markets in the neighborhood.
But the cherry on top here is the host, who is very helpful and so friendly.
I would not stay anywhere else if I went back to Seoul.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
