Jose Enrique and Luisa live on the Costa del Sol, in a country house in Alhaurin de la Torre, a village 16 km. Malaga city and 10 km. of the beach. Luisa has a degree in Spanish Philology and Spanish teacher for foreigners, and teaches Spanish at home. Jose Enrique is an entrepreneur. They have 4 children: Jose Enrique (24 years), Alba and Clara (22 years) and Marina (20 years). All four are students.
The house has 400 square meters on two floors and spectacular views of the mountains and the valley. On the first floor has a kitchen of 25 square meters, with two terraces. There is also a lounge with views, a bathroom and five bedrooms (the master bedroom has another en suite bathroom).
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, a study, a utility room, a garage and a covered terrace which includes kitchen and dining room, overlooking the garden with pool.
On this floor is the room rent of 15 square meters, attached bathroom and exclusive use of that room, and two beds 90 cm wide. The room overlooks the garden, pool and valley, and in summer is very fresh, though the whole house has heating in winter.
The house also has an orchard where Jose Enrique plant organic vegetables.
Although the house is on the side of the mountain, the village is fifteen minutes walk and a five minute drive.

At home we speak Spanish, French and a little English.

About the Area
Our house is on the mountainside in a quiet street. Above the houses across the street leads directly to the mountain, by which you can take long walks and even climb to the top of the highest mountain in the village, called Jabalcuza. But despite this location, from home floor walk into town in 15 minutes. The village has very frequent communication with the capital and other towns in the area.

Yo he visitado a Luisa y a su familia durante 14 días. Ha sido una experiencia estupenda. Toda la familia es muy maja y me ayudaba en todo. Algunas actividades las hemos hecho juntos, como ir en bicicleta, pescar, visitar la ciudad de Málaga, etc. Alhaurín de la Torre es un buen punto de partida para visitar la zona de Andalucía. La casa es fantástica, está en un lugar de montana/campo muy tranquilo. Mi cuarto y mi baño estaban limpísimos y he podido sentirme como en mi casa. Las comidas eran muy ricas y muy saludables, empezando con el desayuno y terminando con la cena. Luisa tiene muchos conocimientos en literatura e historia, da muy bien las clases de español y siempre se podía hablar de todo. Las dos semanas me han ayudado a practicar y mejorar mi español. Una estancia muy recomendable. Espero volver otra vez.
Ich habe Luisa und Ihre Familie 14 Tage lang besucht und es war eine tolle Erfahrung. Die gesamte Familie ist sehr nett und jeder gab mir Hilfe egal um was es ging. Einige Aktivitäten haben wir zusammen unternommen, wie z.B.: Fahrrad fahren, Angeln, Stadtbesichtigung, etc. Alhaurin de la Torre ist zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Andalusien zu erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig gelegen an einem Berghang. Mein Zimmer und Bad war sehr sauber so dass ich mich letztendlich wie zuhause fühlen konnte. Die Mahlzeiten, beginnend mit den Frühstück sind sehr lecker und ausgewogen. Luisa besitzt großes literarisches und historisches Wissen und Sie gibt spanisch Unterricht den ich ganz toll fand. Außerdem kann man mit Ihr über so ziemlich alle Themen reden. Diese 14 Tage haben mir geholfen mein spanisch sehr zu verbessern welches auch mein Hauptanliegen in dieser Zeit war. Für mich ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Ich hoffe diesen Aufenthalt bald wiederholen zu können.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
