American female, living in Barcelona 15 years. I live in a beautiful, quiet, architectual house near the Sagrada Familia and the Estrella Damm beer factory.
This rental is for the ROOM ONLY, which has it's own private bath, and is on it's own floor, so you'll have lots of privacy. The rest of the house is upstairs and access is restricted.
There is a kettle in the room.
There are two cats in the house but they have not been allowed in the guest room to avoid any issues with allergies.
All facilities are new, contemperary and comfortable. Welcome!

About the Area
House near the Modernista Hospital Sant Pau and Rambla Gaudi. A location very well connected with the metro station just steps away, bus stops across the street. You are one street away from Ramble Gaudi, a pretty pedestrian street with lots of cafes and restaurants and trees, that leads straight to the Sagrada Familia church.

Logement situé idéalement à 50m du métro et à 10 mn à pied de la Sagrada Familia. Salle de bain privative très appréciable.

La casa molto carina con bagno privato, la posizione perfetta per raggiungere la Sagrada Familia e l'ospedale Sau Pao a piedi e la fermata della linea Blu della metropolitana a due passi dalla casa e dalla via Gaudi che permette piacevoli soste culinarie. Soggiorno positivo e consigliabile. Fernanda ed Eugenio.

Logement propre et localisation au top. Climatisation bienvenue! S il manque quelque chose, c est un petit frigo pour des boissons au frais notamment.

Buena ubicación, habitación muy independiente pero al ser semisótano muy oscura, sería genial que tuviese un pequeño frigorífico en al habitación especialmente en verano. Muy limpia y cuidada

Britt is nice! It's a bit sad that you can't use the kitchen but otherwise the room was in great condition. Be careful if you are allergic to cats, cause Phantom and Justus will be part of your stay :)

Thanks Ana. The Homestay description does say that the rental is for the room only and that there is no upstairs or kitchen access - that is a private home and workspace for others living there permanantly.
And yes the two cats are very friendly and interested in the guests - I would not recommend the room for people with cat allergies!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
