We are an international family English & Italian. We are a husband and wife, a son and two dogs. We are multi lingual speaking English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Indonesian. We are very easy going. We have had a Japanese university student living with us for 3 years. She is graduating and so her room and private bathroom have become available. Our apartment is very centrally located for universities, offices and culture. There are numerous bus, train and tram routes just 5 mins walk away. 20 mins to the beach by direct bus.

About the Area
Our apartment is close to Diagonal and is located in Barcelona´s prime residential neighbourhood of Sarria Sant Gervasi. We have a beautiful food market next door Mercat Galvany. Very very safe area with loads of shops, bars and restaurants. Excellently well connected with public transport.

House Rules
We are very easy going but a few house rules. No smoking in the house but we have two terraces so you can smoke there. No overnight guests. If you cook for yourself, you need to clear up after. Our current guest has half board and has dinner with us. Full use of the kitchen, dining and living room. We have hosted girls from Japan, Lebanon, Dubai, France, Malta and Italy.

I really enjoyed my stay in Cristina's family. I recommend Cristina's family at 1000 % because you will be welcomed as a full member of their family, you will have all the comforts you need, and you will feel at home. Cristina will cook you good food. You will create links for sure with this very nice and generous family that has a very big heart and is used to welcoming foreigners. So you can go with your eyes closed. Thanks to them, I improved my English level and I will never forget my stay in Barcelona <3

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
