Hi, I'm Mary, your hostess in a cozy house in Valle Miñor, very close to Vigo. I offer you accommodation (Homestay-Full-board) breakfast, lunch and dinner plus laundry service (once a week) included in the price of the stay.
Note: The extra laundry service (more than once a week) will have an additional cost of 6 euros for each wash.
In case you only want a B&B or Half-board type stay, we could also arrange it and adjust the final price of the stay.
Description:
-I have 2 private rooms in the Main House (available inside the house) that include a wardrobe for clothes, TV, desk and lamp, WIFI connection, heating, garden and beautiful views.
-I also have 1 Bungalow for 2 people that is located inside the property but totally independent from the Main House.
The Bungalow is only available in the summer months (July-August-September) and does not include food and laundry services as it has a washing machine inside.
For the rental of the bungalow, and after having made the reservation through the Homestay platform, the guest must agree an additional rental contract with me directly and that will then be sent to the Homestay platform as proof of the agreement between the parties.
The bungalow is fully equipped with a kitchen, fridge, microwave, washing machine, WIFI connection, garden, terrace, private parking, barbecue and beautiful views of the valley.
About the hosts:
Mary is a language teacher, speaks English and Spanish and likes sports, reading, cooking, music, concerts, festivals, socializing, traveling, learning other languages, television, gardening, and nature.
José, her husband, is a lover of good gastronomy and loves to teach his recipes.
At home, in addition to Spanish, English and French are spoken. We like to cook and innovate with different recipes, music, concerts, festivals, reading, learning other languages, traveling, gardening, and nature.
Mary and José have a daughter who sometimes visits the house but who studies and lives abroad for her studies at the university. We also have a very cute little dog that doesn't live inside the house but has its own space in a designated area in the garden.

"CAMINO DE SANTIAGO for all those interested in starting a route of the Camino de Santiago Portugués and doing a few kilometers, stamping the Credential of the beginning of the way in the TUI Cathedral, we can offer an excursion route, guide and orientation at a very reasonable price and affordable to be agreed with the guest.
For those interested in learning and improving their Spanish we offer:
Spanish classes with didactic material included. Price 22 Eur/hour
Spanish cooking and gastronomy classes with didactic material, video and recipe book included. Price 35 Eur/ per session.
For lovers of wine and Albariño wineries we can offer excursions with a wine route at very reasonable prices. .
Transportation services nearby:
Local bus station just 1.8 km from the house very close to the property that has bus lines with daily frequencies to Vigo (Vialia shopping center and bus and train station, Ramallosa, Nigrán, Baiona and Playas.
Our guests will be able to visit places like Vigo, Nigrán, Baiona, Santiago de Compostela, Tui, Valença do Minho in Portugal, Gondomar, the Cies Islands, Playa América, Patos and Panxón, Theater in Vigo, shopping and much more...
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language to practice it in everyday situations. Your host family offers classes in their native language Spanish. One hour class costs € 20.00. The class will be given by the family member at the accommodation. The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning, food, dinner, use of washing machine, and internet services at additional cost (payable directly to the host upon arrival): Pick up service: 60.00 EUR one way

About the Area
Our house is located in Gondomar very close to the city of Vigo and the best beaches in the area in the beautiful Miñor Valley. The house is very close to less than 1.8 km from the center of Gondomar and the local bus station. We can offer you the service of transfers of local airport, bus station or trains. This service would have an extra cost different to the price of the stay. Remember that our price includes half board (Half-board) If you only want B & B or stay in full board (Full-board) we can adjust the price.

House Rules
RULES FOR THE STAY INSIDE THE FAMILY HOME:
Please keep our house safe and lock the front door when you come in and out
Please don't adjust the heating. Ask me and I will be delighted for you.
Any questions related to the operation of the house or devices please consult the hosts
Do not eat or bring food and drinks to the room. You can use the kitchen area for this.
No smoking inside the family home.
Animals are not allowed inside the family home.
Keep the room clean and tidy
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight
Please do not invite strangers to our house
Enjoy your stay and take care of our house as if it were your own.
RULES FOR THE INDEPENDENT STAY IN THE BUNGALOW:
No smoking inside the house.
You are reminded to close the doors and windows when leaving the house.
Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after use.
Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you want to invite a friend, ask first to inform and coordinate with the hosts.
Strangers may not remain wandering around the farm, spend the night on the property or stay overnight in the accommodation with the guest.
A deposit of €300 is required to cover possible damages, which will be returned at the end of the stay if everything is correct.
Pets:
In the event that the bungalow guest brings pets (as long as they are small, a cat or dog), a deposit of 650 euros will be required, which will be returned at the end of the stay if everything is correct.
Important: The guest is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, proper use and proper functioning of the furniture and electrical appliances during their stay. You must inform the host of any incident or damage.
The guest is responsible for cleaning or extra financial compensation for any damage that the pet could cause to the furniture or equipment of the bungalow.

Mary ante todo es una empresaria. Durante el verano, me recibió a mí, persona mayor, como acoge a jovenes durante el año. Mi propósito era conocer la regíon y hablar para progresar en la práctica del idioma. Había pedido que se hablará español en casa (ya que Mary y su hijo son profesores de inglés) y todos respetaron mi demanda. Mary me ayudó y hasta me llevó a unos sitios de interés.
Supongo que mi estancia ha sido demasiado corta para que entabláramos relaciones amistosas.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
