Thanks to Pedro and his wife for the friendly welcome. The accommodation was like a hostel or dorm room—safe but modest—and the bus doesn't drop off quite as close as we hoped—but it was being right on La Malagueta beach for enjoying seafood and drinks at the chiringuitos every afternoon that made our stay in Málaga a refreshing break from the extra wet and cool spring we found elsewhere in Andalucia this year. The walk into the center of Málaga along the Paseo every evening was something we enjoyed a lot, too. We'd stay here again.

Lugar tranquilo, a pasos de la playa. Negativo si vais in coche no hay estacionamientos gratuitos y es dificil encontrarlos.

If you want to stay in the best location of Malaga for a cheap price (of course this is not a 5* hotel), this is the place! The Host Pedro was wornderfull by suggesting restaurants and being available all the time. Highly recommended.

Well it's not so much of a real Homestay but more a hostel. It is basic for sure but it was clean. The place is secure and safe. There was hot water. There was a small kitchen area and space in a fridge for some food. WIFI worked and was OK. The location is good and about a 3 euro taxi ride or a nice 15 minutes walk to the old town, past the port, where you want to be for bars and food.

There were a couple of niggles like the light not working in one of the shower rooms but not too much of a problem really. When all is said and done you must always bear in mind the price and for the price it was OK.

Pedro was cool. Not always around but contactable, he was very pleasant and friendly. He got up at 4 in the morning to taxi me to the airport for 20 euros which is less than you would pay for a taxi (about 30 euros). Saved me a lot of worry wondering whether a taxi would turn up at all.

So for those who don't expect so much then I would recommend the place. If you are a bit picky then no.
