Location The center of Valencia with my retired husband in a large apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large full plant on the first floor with lift, terrace in beautiful grounds. I am well connected to the beaches, shopping and the rest of the city. Under my house there are bicycles to move around the city. I like cooking, music and gymnastics. Fluent in French and English fairly.

About the Area
Our house is a 10 minute walk from downtown. Nearby we have a very important market and a supermarket. In previous streets is where the trendy bars, restaurants, pubs, etc.. Later, a 15 minute walk to the Turia Park and the City of Arts and Sciences. The neighborhood is Ruzafa.

Smoking indoors is not permitted, except on the terrace. The schedule is always tailored to the needs of the guest. You have to respect the sleep quietly or talk loudly., And save the general education standards.

It was a great experience. Mercedes was a very friendly and caring hostess and I had a possibility to practice my Spanish. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the city and quite easy access(by bus) to the beach.

My son and I stayed for a couple of nights with Mercedes. It was great, she helped us in every way, was very friendly and we felt like at home. Great place to stay, close to everything and very save. Ralpk

Mercedes is lovely and the room was a good size, the courtyard was very pretty. Highly recommend, especially if you want to meet new people too as when I was there there were other language students staying in the other room. Great chance to make friends, and her cooking is lovely if you decide to pay extra and have dinner. Very close to town, didn't use a metro/bus the whole time expect to get to the beach.

How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
