We Angelika and Detlev live in the main building of the Villa Sunshine and have for your questions and requests always offenenes ear. You will receive a cabana with a private terrace. The Cabana stand in a 3000 m² garden in the you can beobchten many animals. Breakfast is served on the terrace of the main house.
Pure nature, yet only 500m from one of the best beaches of Sri Lanka.
Air conditioning, we not only make sick, but over each bed has a mosquito net and a fan.
For a small fee, we can wash your laundry with.

About the Area
Our house is about 40 km from the southernmost point of Sri Lanka away. The beach is 500m to the nearest major train station about 2 km away. The nearest corner shop 50m for small purchases. The place Ahangama is also 2 km away.
What can you do in the vicinity is very much as we are conveniently located. Let's start with:
bathe - in only 500m distance you come to one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. For all surfers in the world known 4 surf spot almost on the doorstep.
snorkeling - we know a great little bay with a coral reef where you can snorkel and swim excellent.
Maritime - on the Koggala lake big lake with seven islands, some of which are visited, a very nice half-day tour. In 5 minutes to reach.
National Park - the three major national parks Bundala, Udawalawe and Yala are doable as a day trip from us. Move there you can visit the Blow Hole and a 38m high sitting Buddha.
Rainforest - doable as a day trip from us, very interesting for nature and animal lovers.
Ayurveda massage or visit to the doctor, we know exactly the right doctor for your problem. 15min by tuktuk and you are at one in Sri Lanka very famous ayurvedic doctor.
Even if you plagued by hunger no problem in the neighborhood there are several local where you can eat well and cheaply. Good shopping in Ahangama about 2 km from the Villa Sunshine.
go hiking, biking even jet skiing is possible nearby.

House Rules
Outside it is always nice on the terrace is space and an ashtray. Since the mosquito nets are easily flammable, please only smoke outside. Damaged damages must be paid immediately and in cash.

We ask as soon as possible for a transfer - deposit of 70% - or the total amount. For a deposit the rest please in cash on site

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
