I am a civil engineer and my wife is a geography teacher. We have 3 kids 13,11 and 9 years and elder 2 are boys and younger one is girl. All are studying in medium of English then no any problem with communication. Further we can provide home made delicious food on your request.

About the Area
Our house is situated 3km from Anuradhapura town along air port road. You can chose either bus or train to come to the Anuradhapura and once you came here we can pick you from station or bus stand.

I had a very good time at Tushari's home. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and she and her 3 kids are great people... so kind, generous and caring. I enjoyed every moment with them!... Actually, I spent more time there than outside!

I have travelled extensively and stayed in the widest variety of places... but this was without a doubt the best accommodation experience that I have ever had. I stayed for 2 weeks whilst undertaking some uni research close by. We were welcomed with open arms in Chandana and Thursari's house and family! We played with the beautiful children and enjoyed the most incredible home cooked meals (great if you want to learn Sri Lankan cooking). The house is large and comfortable with a beautiful garden. They were also such great help in helping us to arrange a reliable tuk tuk driver needed for travelling for our work. I could not recommend Green Villa Homestay enough... I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Chandana, Thursari and the kids, I hope to see you again soon!!

We felt so welcomed by this wonderful family. Such a special place they really looked after us. I loved our conversation on our last morning where we discussed religion, development etc and am so grateful for such insight to the culture of Sri Lanka. Lovely room, shower and fantastic food.

We had a fabulous 3 days here, friendly and super helpful family with lovely kids who made the stay so much fun for our boys. We visited places we never would have found without their local knowledge and enjoyed delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners. Thankyou x

We felt like being part of the family from the first minute, everybody was so welcoming and gave everything to make our stay unforgettable.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
