We (Ashley & Nirupa) are a married couple with no kids living in a modern house of our own in a quiet area . Located just walking distance from the Batuwatta Railway Station (Kandy Line) which allows for easy access to major city destinations. Our neighborhood is safe . Ashley is very fluent in Japanese and we are both fluent in English Language. Ashley is a creative guy having his own small scale recycle paper factory which turns out an echo friendly product. He is also a voluntary worker at YMCA and he is an experienced camp master. We are both members of Lions Organisation, in Sri Lanka . Our motto is "We Serve".
We have one double room available for guests with connecting bath rooms and have a front veranda and a side veranda ideal to relax with garden space. Our guest can use one of the pantries with the common dining area. Our home is very sunny and bright with good natural lighting and healthy blowing and you can be rest assured that we will take care of our guest with utmost concern.

About the Area
Our home is situated in the Northwest of Ragama in Sri Lanka which is the main Town close to us. It is about 12min. away to where you can find a Major Hospital, super markets, restaurants etc. All express trains to Kandy , Nuwara Eliya stop at Ragama. The main feature being we are just 22 minutes away from Kadawatha entrance of Colombo - Matara highway.
The main advantage of using the train is, it is very economical and time saving.
We have a good train service from our place to Fort (Colombo) throughout the day.

• Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving our home
• Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
• Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
• Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own home for the duration of your stay.
• Illegal drugs are not allowed to be carried or possessed by the guest inside the house or bedroom.
• Internet access is free through the home wi-fi (wireless connection) but for a limited time only
• For your safety, always keep the host informed when you go out to go around the city, to the malls, movies, beach resorts or other places. Leave your cell number with us in case you get lost.
• For guests who are minors (below 18 years old), we acts as your guardian if agreed with parents; rules of conduct while at the boarding/guest house should be followed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
