The Bungalow is in the center of Kollupitiya in the heart of Colombo 3 with easy access to three supermarkets, National Museum, the biggest park in Colombo, and most of the best hotels and restaurants, University of Colombo, Embassies of India, USA and Germany.

Taken immediately into the family so friendly taken by son to see temple and told where to go and what prices to expect from tuc tuc drivers. Had breakfast in enclosed garden and evening meal with family lovely friendly homestay. If you want posh go to a hotel if you want safe simple friendly family home visit, this is the place. Thank you for my stay 15/11/23

Thank you for hosting me at your beautiful home. I loved the house, its furniture and style. It reminded me so much of the bygone age of my youth and brought back fond memories. It is a pearl or an oasis among the carbuncles of high rise and fortified homes around you.
Having breakfast with with you and our interesting conversations was a treat. It was so very good to have a Sri Lankan breakfast every day. It set me up for the day ahead. Back home now it is down to boring Cereals, Croissants, bacon & eggs and cheese & ham toasts.Host reply

Padmine’s house is a little slice of history in a rapidly developing area, a tranquil garden, wonderful service and a knowledgeable hostess who is happy to guide you with suggestions.

Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Colombo, in all senses of the word. Padmine made my stay very special and would only ever stay there if I go back.

Padminee is a wonderful hostess. I have enjoyed her warm welcome, our conversations half-French half-English and her very nice house. I will remember with pleasure the colourful flowers on the breakfast table, in harmony with the crockery and the green garden.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
