Daminda and his wife are very helpful and welcoming. She is a great cook and all the breakfasts and dinner we enjoyed were delicious. The bed was very comfy and this was a great place to recover from my long journey to Sri Lanka. Daminda was very helpful with information about the local area and organising transport for us when we needed it. The terrace is lovely and has a beautiful view.

I stayed wth Daminda twice during my holiday.
I found their house to be incredible.
Large bedroom with large balcony looking over a large garden and lake.
In the garden was a water buffalo and a Goat.
I saw a large number of birds. Woodpeckers, Kingfishers, parrots, Cuckoos, and plenty more. It was a delight to watch these birds feeding.
Once I saw a White Eagle delightfull.
The family were quite lovely. Daminda noting my ruptured ankle allowed me use of the families scooter to get around. I thank them for that generosity.
I am more than happy to recommend this Homestay unreservedly.
I had the option of eating at the hosts hotel, and took advantage of that.
The Hillside Hotel, close to the family. Proper breakfast and chef prepared evening meals. There is also a pool!
