We are a family of four, I Creeta, my husband Clement, our daughter Ruchini and my father Avellinus. We are very simple, friendly people and happily would like to share with you the authentic Sri Lankan Life Style, cultural values, traditions, authentic cuisine and other attractions of the location.
My guesthouse is located in a quite village area of Bollatha,1.5km from downtown Ganemulla, Sri Lanka. Home Sweet Home is the first Homestay accommodation in Bollatha and it is unique because of the hotel like facilities and the great hospitality.
Home Sweet Home Homestay accommodation is the best place for business, budget and group travellers traveling through Colombo Bandaranayaka International Airport, Sri Lanka. We offer direct entrance beautiful private rooms each with an attractive view of the garden for everyone to enjoy.
Home Sweet Home is a two storey house and has 7 self contained rooms each with lovely ensuite bathroom, break-out area and kitchenette. For the start we rent three rooms and another two will join shortly. Home Sweet Home is a perfect “home away from home” for every one to enjoy through out the year whether it is a short or a long stay in Sri Lanka. Specially this is ideal for travellers who wish to rest the first and the last day before and afrer visiting around Srilanka because our location is very peaceful and near to the International airport.
Our three bed rooms come with Wooden laminate flooring (Nature & Deluxe) marble flooring (Orange), wooden queen beds(Nature & Orange) steel Queen bed(Deluxe), two and three door wardrobes, writing desks & chairs, Dressing tables with drawers, clothe hangers, night lamps, paintings, LCD Tv with AC(Orange) AC & fan( Deluxe), attached bathrooms (Orange & Deluxe) and non attached bathroom but reserve to room Nature.
Bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided free of charge and will be changed every week for long term guests. The room and the bathroom will be cleaned every two days time.
We have two living halls along with a dining area and a kitchen. Oven, water heater, bread toaster, sandwich toaster, fruit juicer and mixer are there in the kitchen. Guests are welcome to use both as same as enjoy the leisure time sitting in front of the small indoor garden with the water fountain. We have a quite big garden area around 3/4 of the house to play and to park vehicles. There are Rambutan and Guava trees bearing lots of fruits at the backyard and have vegetables for home and visiter's use too. Our water well is there to you to have a well water bath to get a new and enjoyable experience.
We arrange tours around Sri Lanka and have several tour packages to choose as to travellers desires. Beside our tour packages we arrange tours for the guest's preference too. Either way we ensure a great fun and unforgettable tour around SriLanka for the fullest satisfaction of yours.
Our area is covered by lot of paddy fields and everywhere looks green. The neighbourhood families are very friendly and full of hospitality. Home Sweet Home is located in the middle of five big towns ( Gampaha, Kandana, Ja-ela, Ragama & Kadawatha ) which takes only 15 minutes to travel by a Tuk Tuk. Bulugahagoda railway station is 10-12 minutes walking distance and take only 35minutes to reach Colombo Fort Station. The bus stop is 5 minutes walking from our guesthouse and take 7 minutes to reach Ganemulla town. It is only 30 minutes to Negambo. Super markets, restaurants, saloons, gyms are 10 minutes away and friendly tuk tuks are always there for your needs. Also you can rent a car for a very cheap price. We are happy to guide you when ever you need help.
You can spent the day at Gampaha Botanical Gardens which has self paddle boat rides(15 minutes), Guruge Nature Park with boat rides(15 minutes), Swimming pool (20minutes) and to Uswatakeiyawa beach (20 minutes). There are lot of Beach Hotels and others within 30 minutes drive time for you to have a great fun time while your stay in SriLanka.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
