The hosts were very good people - but new to the hospitality industry as I was their first guest - they just need to educate themselves and learn more about how to host a tourist. I enjoyed all the meals Aunty Suba prepared for me as I decided to eat at her house - the bed was very comfortable
Kandy is 3 hours from the city of Colombo and from the airport - which is not stated in their info. I only found out a day before I flew. I did want to be outside the city centre but not so far out.
The room is very basic - nothing much inside except a very comfortable bed and 2 small tables. I am a bit concerned about the location of the house - very difficult to reach.

Thank you for your reply. We mentioned in home stay website to reach to my place from kandy, it is only 08 km .Not from Colombo. We clearly mentioned the details. Even if you find my home stay through home stay website ,you can not find it in Colombo. it is in kandy. :-). Any way , The Room is big,tiled and newly constructed. comfortable bed and with attached bath room , three wooden chairs ,two tables , towel rack , mirror ( All as shown in the web site- Large room ) . As the very first guest to our home stay , We are really happy about you. We have provided additional free services of pick up and drop to kandy too. We provided every things what you expected from us. i accept that the place is situated in a top of a mountain with nice surroundings, Therefore , it is bit difficult to travel . But my self I am 71 years , Every day I come to my place by walking , it is just 75 meters from the main road. if you come by a tuck tuck , they only charge 1 USD.
How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
