We live Maharagama just 9 km from Colombo, Sri lanka. Maharagama city is a hub which connects to coastal cities , Galle and Matara via the newly constructed highway.
Our family consists of myself, my wife Anoma and 22 year old son (final year student at NIBM, Sri Lanka) who is also employed as an Associate Sales Engineer at Data Management Services, Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ruhuna, Matara, Sri Lanka.
Accommodation consists of, one dormitory style bedroom with small veranda, balcony, separate, self contained pantry and bathroom. Romm is provided with two single beds ( 2additional beds could also be accommodated), fans, plug inlets, closet, ironing bord and iron. The pantry is equipped with a wall fan, mini-bar, microwave, electric water heater, cooker washing machine and cupboards. Our house which is attached is a 3 bedroomed house with front veranda, hall, sitting and dining room. Two bedrooms have attached bathrooms and another bathroom attached to the outside of the house.

About the Area
Our house is located in Maharagama, Sri Lanka as shown in Google map above. This town is a fully fledged town with all facilities such as supermarketd, utility shops, clothing stores and eating houses such as Pizza Hut and KFC. Also find restaurents providing local food and Chinese quisines. Internet Cafe facilities are available. This town is the central spot where luxury passenger buses at nominal rates are available to the two coastal towns, Galle and Matara, which are only one and a half hours and two hours away respectively along the newly constructed highway. Once a persons gets to Matara, it is the gateway to other destinations such as Arugam bay, the latest surfing area in Sri Lanka.

Meals

House Rules
Just ensure that the fans are in off mode and the brand new washing machine is switched off when leaving the premises. The front door should be locked when going out.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
