Wish prabha lake view lodge is a warm family place close (20 minute walk) to Sigirya Rock. Clean, big rooms with warm water, good WIFI and delicious home cooked food are offered.(garden vegetables organic foods ) Also all kinds of activities (jeep safari, bicycle hire, transport etc.) can be organized.
This bed and breakfast offers a 24-hour front desk.
Pidurangala Rock is 2km m away. Sigiriya Museum is 1.5 km from the accommodation.
We are cooking our garden vegetables organic foods and also guest can join for cooking of charge. Close to lake for bird watching and swimming

About the Area
We provide you with a private bedroom with private bathroom. Your room is separate from our house, around 20 meters away. You will wake up with the whistle of birds, the peacocks, parrots and so. It is a very quiet place - near the lake (50 meters) and you have full view on the majetic Lion Rock which you definitely want to climb. You are on a 20 minutes walk from the restaurants,ATM , supermarket, bicycle rent and bus stop. Don't hesitate to contact me for further information.

Kumara and his family are very kind. I very much liked the way they grow organic vegetables and take their own fresh water from the ground.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The family were very hospitable and added much to the the pleasure of our stay in Sigriya.
The actual room was very spacious and clean with a lovely garden porch and good views. The home is situated in a beautiful rural area near a lake that has great view if distant mountains.
If you like to be situated in nature and are looking for a very friendly genuine homestay experience I cannot recommened this place highly enough.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
