Komalakotam Court is the traveller’s ideal stay, where modern comfort meets local life. A newly refurbished historical family home in the heart of Trincomalee town is suitable for solo travellers, couples and families with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, WIFI and amenities tailored for international travellers. Its prime location means easy access to local bus station, warm beaches, markets and historical and religious sights.
Your hosts, Siv and Gow, were born and raised in Trincomalee but have been living between Australia and Srilanka over the last 30 years. Both have been involved in a number of charity projects in Australia, and now have reached out to give back to the community that raised them. Arivaham Early Learning Centre for Children was established by Gow in 2016 with the purpose of providing equal access to education and early childhood development for local young children. The guest house provides support in the running of the school whilst employing and training locals and encouraging local businesses. Gow and Siv are in fluent English and have a fountain of local knowledge on places to go and see as well as the history of the town.
Siv is a vibrant and active man with a passion for gardening, movies and music. Gow is a teacher with a kind nature, flair for culture and has many passions for food, people and traveling. During the day time she will be attending to Arivaham Early Learning Centre for Children but will always go out of her way to ensure that you have the best experience Trinco has to offer.

The address is 9 Vidyalayam LANE (not Vidyalayam Road). This road does not appear on google maps. It is the road off Main Street connecting Vigneswara School and Shanmuga School.

Meals

Please do not eat on beds. Kindly take care of the linen and the cushions provided.
There is a dining table you may use to have your food and leave the place as it was.
Please feel free to use the fridge in the dining area.
Please use the wash basin near the dining and place the food waste in the bin beside the wash basin.
Please turn off lights, fans and air-conditioning when you are not using or not in the room.
Please lock the rooms and the gate when you leave.
Please put the rubbish in the bins provided.
Please keep pressing the toilets until it finish flushing.
Please make sure our rooms are smoke free and family friendly.

Stayed in North room - very luxurious for the price!
House is lovely, kitchen and dining all accessible and close to evrtything in the city centre.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
