We live in Golden Triangle village (sob ruok), near the famous Golden Triangle tourist point.. The village is very laid back and provides many opportunities for practicing Thai.
You will get own room and bathroom. The rooms are contained in a private house. It is enough for 2-3 peoples, so we welcome couples and families.
We have two kids, 2 year old and 4 years old. They can speak english and actively learning. You can help also by speaking English with them.
We also have many Thai guests staying in other rooms that you can speak too.

About the Area
The home is located near the Golden Triangle Point. about 5 minutes walk from it. There is Bank, 7 eleven, tourist locations all within walking distance. The town itself is very small with a tight knot friendly community that relies on tourism. Be a part of the local culture and not just another tourist. You will see and learn so much more that tourists never get to see. Sob ruak is close to Chiengsean and masai which can provide more Assorted opportunities for sight seeing and shopping. 2 wks - 4 wks is the perfect time to stay for language learning and exploring the area.
In the surrounding areas, there is a large Aka community village 15 kilometres from sob ruak. A viewpoint in the highest point in this region. We can organize you to checkout local farms and learn about agriculture in the region. Casinos and Chinatown on the Laos side. Various local markets for local handicrafts. The pace is very laidback here, but there is enough to do for 2 weeks. Which is our recommended period of stay for best experience.

Keep noise to a minimum after midnight. Feel free to use the kitchen and public areas, but clean up after yourself.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
