Large established house in scenic rural setting approx 25 km from Krabi & 20 km from Ao-Nung The upper floor includes 2 bedrooms 3 toilets, large kitchen & lounge room Big tropical garden c/w mountain views and cool translucent tidal creek. The house has generous verandas and large open rooms. A large third bedroom downstairs and garden bungalow can be added for larger groups The upper floor is private with scenic mountain views. The large kitchen lends itself to family dinner parties.

The house should be considered as a rural Thai farm stay/getaway i.e. Large vegetable garden, free range domestic animals; creek with fabulous swimming hole and outdoor activities which include:-
• Kayaking
• Swimming
• Cycling
• Walking
• Boating
• Fishing
• Also normal rural Thai activities such as rubber tapping, palm oil harvesting along with free ranging domestic animals.
Note: We have ponds and a creek along our boundary which could be hazardous to young mobile children if not kept under close supervision.

The owner lives in the ground floor with all amenities i.e. We have no need to access upper floor, however we are there to enhance your stay, this may be help with organizing transport to local highlights/ shopping/ restaurants;
Help with tours, catering, transport;
Guests have use of the large private upper floor, which has balconies all around, with good access (stairs) front and back Security is also good.
The large garden area, and creek swimming hole is for your enjoyment.
We also have a library of English kids & adult books (fiction & nonfiction) if you care to relax in a chair and soak up the ambience.

Swimming pool is the natural creek pool - Life jackets available
**-** During the high season we prefer bookings that rent the entire upper floor (2 bedrooms rather than rent out individual rooms to different guests. High season is October to February **-**
Additional Info
The two large bedrooms upstairs have aircon & double bed - we can put a mattress on the floor or install bunk beds for kids at no cost and / or make a another bedroom available (Lower floor) for addition cost
We will supply a complimentary hamper to start with and complimentary breakfast each morning - if you don't want to cook we have some takeaway menu's to choose from.

We can organize free transfer from Krabi airport (25 minutes) or meet at suitable pickup location if transferring from Phuket.
Our property is semi rural; Guests with transport can explore the greater region with ease; Or stay local;
We are often going into town or to the large supermarket nearby so you will be welcome to join us.

This destination is not located in the established tourist area although is very scenic i.e. The nearest bars and beaches are either at Tha len 7km or at Ao-Nung approx. 15km - 15-20min, away;
We encourage self sufficient accommodation - medium to long term duration - you are able to cook for yourself or order food - The local village is 2 km away
Car and motor bike rental is available
If you don't need lots of other people around and want to see real Thailand - then this may be the place for you.

Having your own transport will open up a lots of sightseeing possibilities - There are some fantastic attractions 1 hour or less away including :-
•Emerald pool @ Klong Tom
•Cave tours @ Phung Nga
•National Park walking & water falls
•Hot springs
• Lam Suk Temple & views
etc etc
If you don’t have transport we will be happy to show you around locally-:
•Local sight seeing
•Local market and large supermarket .
• We are often going to Krabi town and you are welcome to join us.
The public transport is infrequent from our local village (Nai Sa) into Krabi town and back but there are buses which run on Thai time – or when they have enough passengers!
The local buses run from the Tha len (ferry terminal ) via Nai Sa to Krabi town and back.
The Tha len ferry boats run between Tha len via Kho Yao then to Phuket which is a nice alternative way to leave or go to Phuket from Krabi.
Longtail boat trips out to the fabulous Phung nga bay can be organised with the locals and leave from the navigable creek headwaters 200m from the house or from Ao Nung & Tha len
We can recommend a variety of day trips on the bay and mountains to suit your interests
We love the classic Honda 125cc motor bikes or similar for local transport but wouldn’t use them ourselves for long trips along the highways
Please take care when diving motor bikes in Thailand - We want you to have a safe & memorable trip and come back again.

A really comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ecovilla is spacious, well-equipped and has an extensive garden and ponds containing a wealth of plants and wild and domesticated animals. A pleasure to walk round.
A pleasingly rural location but handy for the local village - the market on wednesdays and saturdays is recommended.
Joy, our host, went out of her way to make us welcome and helped tremendously with understanding the local culture, booking visits and onward travel. Joy’s cooking is also recommended and very reasonably priced.

We really loved our stay here. We could have stayed for weeks longer. It has the wow factor, a stunning place with so many animals. We didn't get to meet David, but joy was an amazing host. She really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was amazing. There are so many things to do here, and she offered us push bikes, motorbikes and gave us constant ideas for what to do. The kids loved her, and we all fell in love with their home. We would go back if we return and stay for longer. Eating fresh coconuts from one of the trees was fantastic for the kids. The creek was very dangerous for the young kids, but under our careful watch we all really enjoyed it and it wasn't so close to the house that we felt nervous about the kids. A lovely spot for nature lovers. Very special.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
