Turkish village houses on archeological site.
Years ago, when I stumbled upon Sidyma village, I knew I would find a way to stay there. Since that magical discovery, I have teamed up with my widowed neighbor Fatma and together we cater to trekkers along the Lykian trail. This ancient route passes right through our amazing old village, allowing visitors to see and touch archeology first hand. 'Living archeology', as I love to call it.
Our homes are simple. Our hearts are big. Our pleasure derives from witnessing our guests enjoy and appreciate 'the Slow Life'.

About the Area
Follow the Blue Flowers and Dots
If you are trekking into Sidyma village from Bogazici, once you see the enclosed graveyard to you right, take the path going right. You will pass a sign indicating directions to the Bouleuterion. Keep walking until the first house appears. This is Brea's house and the following one is Fatma's.
If you are entering the village from Bel or Gey, when you hit the dirt road, keep to your left and continue walking, passing a few homes until the road ends. You will see signs or a neighbor will point to our homes. Or they may offer you tea first.
We have spray painted our blue, four petal flower sign in many places.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Respect for others when late at night. The village is so peaceful, disrupting it is a sin!
Most villagers are elders and therefore conservative. One should refrain from walking around in a bikini or provocative attire.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
