About the Homestay
Single room in City central flat and so close to everything. I am a Bath tour guide and happy, if required, to show or tell you all about this wonderful city.
It is always good to talk before your stay to find out what you might want to see in the city. Then I can suggest how best to achieve this with the amount of time you have in Bath. Hopefully some of my input will make your stay in Bath exceptional.
If you are the completely independent traveller just looking for cheap B&B without any interaction, then this is probably not the Homestay philosophy and please look elsewhere.
Short stays only generally accepted, 3 days max. Please do not ask for long term stays.

Paul is a wonderful host, friendly and attentive. He picked me up from the bus station and at the end of my holiday he dropped me off at the railway station. We spent a lovely time together visiting Bath but also travelling to Stonehenge, Avebury, the stunning Cotswolds and Wells. It was really great and something that will make my holiday unforgettable. Paul made every effort to show me hidden gems like old pubs or elegant Manors. It was a real dip in the British tradition! The room is nice and strictly closed to the centre of town. Thanks, Paul for this beautiful experience.
I was late getting there because my car sat nav kept shutting down, hence getting lost (I will have to buy a new one tomorrow). I enjoyed my stay with Paul, he was interesting.
First, Paul made my stay in Bath wonderful and perfect. His house is very central and you can reach out everything you want in Bath. Paul is an extraordinary man and great company. He took me all the Cotswolds Villages, Bradford-on-Avon and Lacock. He's very enthusiastic about telling you the area and everything he knows :-) ... I'm going to miss our afternoon tea parties Paul, thank you very much again.
Paul is a great host, helpful, friendly and funny. His place has an excellent location. It's very quiet. The bedroom offer anything you need.
Paul was a fabulous host. He truly went above and beyond. If you are a social person who is looking to really get to know Bath and its beauties, I couldn’t recommend anyone more.
English : The flat is in a great location, close to the old town. Paul is a perfect host and a wonderful guide (being a passionate tourist guide to Bath). We don't risk getting bored for a second, I now know a good part of the city, bars and many friends of Paul. He is really attentive, available and generous! I have a fantastic memory of those two days spent with him. I highly recommend this accommodation. See you soon Paul!
Nice location. 5 minutes to city center. Nice host. If you are interesting in history. You must stay here.
I stayed at Paul's for 3 nights, we had good interesting chats and went to a pub quiz together! I really enjoyed the nice little room and the homemade breakfast in the morning. I already knew Bath quite well but as a passionate tour guide he was able to tell me some more good stories about this lovely city. I will recommend staying at Paul's place to anyone who is seeking for an interesting and funny inside view of Bath.
Had a fantastic time in Bath staying with Paul - as a tour guide his knowledge of the city is second to none, so he was not only able to give a huge amount of information, history and suggestions of places worth seeing (and worth avoiding!), but was able to tailor this to my particular interests as well. We went out for a drive outside of Bath one afternoon and he showed me some fantastic old pubs that I would never have found myself. It was great chatting with him and he was very hospitable too. The flat is also in an excellent location, very central and just moments from places to eat, drink and enjoy the sights. If you're new to Bath like me, or not, I would highly recommend.
My boyfriend and I spent a sunny april-weekend in Bath, and Paul was so kind to host us. Bath is a fantastic and lively city, and Paul - being a passionate tour guide - is very happy to spend time with his guests and show them every gem Bath offers. He picked us up from the station, already pointing out some directions, sights and restaurants he'd recommend. We went out for drinks later and he showed us around before we headed off to explore parks, museums and the spa. Location is perfect - at the city centre and only a 10 minute walk from the station. We could also stay in our own room and he provided extra camp bed to accommodate 2. A fantastic weekend!
