I have lived in this house for about 20 years. It is a quiet road with a great view as the house is up a hill. I live here with my partner and my dog. The house is a 20 minute walk from the city centre and is served by a regular bus service. My children to not live here any more as they have grown up and moved away so there are two spare bedrooms. One room is small - the little room. The other room can accommodate 3 people. It has a single bed and also a good quality John Lewis trundle bed which is a single bed with a single bed underneath. This can make a comfortable double bed. The room is a good size with a great view. Please note for three people staying in the room, we require an additional £15 . The bathroom is shared - has a bath and shower and there is also a toilet downstairs.

Karen and her husband, Karl, are friendly and welcoming with interesting stories. Both are well informed, their home is cosy, relaxed and comfortable - a real home from home for the five nights I spent with them.

A very enjoyable stay, including a good breakfast, and a fantastic view from the front of the Cottage of the hills surrounding Bath. I will hopefully stay here again.

Lovely warm and friendly home from home! Stayed in the small bedroom which was perfect for one and enjoyed my time in Karen's home and visiting Bath. Main centre was an easy walk down the hill with bus option available for return :-) . Karen even provided an electric kettle in the room for an early morning cup of tea.

Very welcoming, including from the dogs! Comfortable beds, nice selection for breakfast and internet worked well. House is quite small with shared bathroom. Good for walking into Bath providing you don't mind the hill on the way back.
