We are a married couple with full and part time occupations and we have one single room available for rent in our spacious home. This room is rented on a room and breakfast basis only, though additional meal arrangements can be made. Wi-fi is free and off road parking is available. The local shopping mall and public transport are both within walking distance (3 mins) and our location is 10-15 minutes from the NEC, B’ham Int. Airport, B’ham city centre and Heartlands hospital (this is one of Birmingham’s main hospitals). Fifty yards from our front door is a large communal park where exercise and walking can be enjoyed. For those of you who actually enjoy longer walks, there is an entrance to miles and miles of canal walkways nearby. Whatever the reason for your visit, we will endeavour to make your stay here a comfortable one

House Rules

No associates, friends or relatives to be brought into our home, and we do not permit people exchanges. Noise levels ( music and audio devices ) to be kept to a minimum after 8pm. Smoking permitted outside in rear garden

    Visit in Vera&Gary house was good. They were very nice and helpful.

How do I book?

Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
