Hi there!
I am a friendly young professional looking for a guest in the summer months whilst my parents are away. I live in my lovely family home in Selly Oak that is available for the summer whilst my parents are abroad working. I am a young professional that is welcoming someone to come and stay in the summer months. I have lived in Birmingham for 7 years so I know the city very well but I am always keen to explore somewhere new places too! The bedroom is a spacious room with a double bed and there is a massive garden and big kitchen and living room which would be yours to use. I am a very chilled out person and looking for a guest who wants to stay in Birmingham for the summer. The usual rules would apply, no crazy parties on week days, strictly no smoking indoors and generally to treat and respect the house as if it was your own.
I also have a wonderful cat called Percy who loves making friends and he is all the way from Greece! The house is located 8 minutes walking distance from Selly Oak train station which will get you into town in 10 minutes. There are regular buses to town and super markets all around. I am also very happy to give you any tips on what to get up to whilst you are in Birmingham, show you around and hope you have a wonderful time here!

About the Area
The house is located in an excellent location. About 8 minutes walk from Selly Oak train station which will get you into the city centre in 10 minutes. To get a taxi into town it would take about 10-15 minutes. There are many local bus stops nearby and the Queen Elizabeth hospital and the University of Birmingham are very close.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
