I'm Monica and look forward to hosting you for your stay in Bournemouth. We have 1 single room available including Mirror, hanging space, and Desk and Lamp. Our home is in a great location to get a real flavour of Bournemouth life.
We are an 8 minute walk from the University campus and a 5 minute walk from shops, bars and restaurants. A bus at the end of the road goes to the town centre every 5 minutes. We are a 35 minute walk from the town centre and blue flag beach.
We have a fully equipped beach hut available for additional hire on the beautiful beach on a daily or weekly rate (no sleeping facilities)
Monica is 53 and enjoys cooking, , music, gigs, festivals, reading, socialising, travel, , and self-development. She speaks English and Italian
Bryan is 52 and enjoys sports, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, socialising, travel, learning foreign languages, television, cars, nature, and science. He speaks English

About the Area
Our homestay is a really good choice in University Area. Once you complete your booking you'll get a mail with our complete address. Don't worry you won't have any problems finding us. I can help with transport tips too from central Bournemouth if necessary.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house
Please have clean bathroom habits and leave the bathroom as you would like to find it!
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home! We will respect you - please respect us and our boundaries - helping yourself (without asking first) to items/food in the UK is considered extremely rude.
Room only arrangements do not offer full use of our family kitchen and kitchen equipment - in a family home (and we are 'open plan') . If you wish to cook full meals then a flat share or studio flat is reccomended

Very pleasant room and house, amongst family. Can prepare drinks and refrigerate food in room. Sunny warm room. Excellent location for walking to town and catching bus. Nice neighborhood.

Das Haus vor allem aber die Küche war oft verdreckt. Häufig lagen schmutzige Klamotten und Gegenstände in den Gängen auf den Böden. Zum Essen gab es mehrfach Fertiggerichte oder Reste.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
