We have a large detached 5 bedroom house in the exclusive Hove park area. Our home has 3 king guest rooms. Each of these rooms has been personally designed by us to an extremely high standard, more in keeping with a luxury hotel than a room in a home. Each room has a private en-suite shower room and toilet, built in wardrobes, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, HD Tv with Freeview and WIFI wireless internet.
Me & Sue(Kyoung-Suk) got married in 2002 after she came to the UK from South Korea to live & settle in the UK. As an interracial couple decided that it would be a wonderful idea to host guests from all over the world and so began our journey on Homestay!
We both work full time. I have my own holiday rental business and Sue works as a financial controller for a large company in central London and commutes to work Monday to Friday.
We have a lovely cat called Lulu
We only host over 18's and have been hosting guests from around the world now since 2003 and really enjoy having people from different cultures and backgrounds stay with us. Some of our guests come back and stay with us for their holidays each year and keep in touch, which is nice.
Additional Info:
We are just a 12 minute drive from Sussex university via the A27.
We have free off street parking for 5 or 6 cars.
Sue speaks both Korean and English fluently.
Bookings are for room only stays. Guests do not have access to any other areas of our home at any time.

About the Area
Brighton is famous for tourists and foreign students that come here to learn/improve their English language and do some sightseeing. It has probably the nicest weather in England and is only a 50 minute train journey from London. The area of Brighton we live in is called Hove. It is the quieter part of Brighton next to the countryside. Our home is a couple of minutes walk from Hove park which is a large park containing lots of Tennis courts, football, Rugby and Basketball courts, a miniature railway, Cafe and lots of green space! There are a few shops just next to our home including a Newsagents/convenience store/Off licence/Post Office, Italian restaurant, dry cleaners and a gym. Just a 10 minute walk away is a large Waitress supermarket. There is a bus stop servicing Brighton and Hove train stations, the city centre and Brighton Marina just outside our home by the shops and a more frequent bus just a 10 minute walk away. We live just a 20 minute bus ride away from central Brighton and a 10 minute journey to the beach. Sussex University is a 12 minute drive away via the A27.

Lovely decorated room with comfortable bed. Bus stop into town only 2min walk and nice Italian restaurant next door. Only issues: Ensuite bathroom door is see through and private roof terrace is open with no barriers which could be dangerous. Thank you

Thank you Lee for a great stay. My room was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished. I hadn't planned for making a cup of tea etc, but made good use of the fridge, kettle with Waitrose nearby for milk etc. The room was quiet with a really comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again for future visits to Hove to see my daughter.

I have travelled a lot since July and the easing of restrictions, and this was by far and away the best room I have stayed in. Stylish, spacious, comfortable, everything you could ask for. Lee was a great host - very friendly and welcoming, and I’d definitely recommend to anybody needing to stay in the area.
