About the Homestay
Our Victorian property is about 1.5 miles away from Brighton city centre and buses into town are a two minute stroll from the property. It only takes 10 minutes to be right in the hub of the famous Lanes or admiring the view on the Brighton Sea Front. The South Downs and Ditchling Beacon are also very near by, of interest to nature lovers and dog walkers alike! Our 4 bedroom garden home is in the safe family area of Five Ways within walking distance of the lovely Blakers and Preston Park. We are also a two minute walk from a selection of stylish cafes, small local shops, a Co-op, butchers, green grocers and a few eateries and bars, it's a great location to absorb the Fiveways vibe and a home away from home for convenience!
I live with my partner, 8 year old son and 2 doggies. We have spent the last 24 years in Hong Kong but are really happy to be back in my hometown! We are both qualified teachers, DBS checked and have a variety of experiences working and supporting students and young people of all ages. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
The first floor bedroom is adjacent to the family bathroom. The room overlooks the garden and is light and peaceful. It is equipped with a standard double bed, table, reading lamp, TV, Wi-FI, hair dryer, wardrobe and small cupboard. We reserve this for single people and mostly prefer long term stays.
There is access to the kitchen for self-catering meals.
The beautiful loft with en-suite, king sized bed, feather and down duvet and pillows is reserved for short term only, 7 nights maximum and 2 nights minimum. Cleaning fee of £10 if you only stay one night. We except couples and children (under 12). £10 extra for child bed (there is a full single sized mattress available for this purpose). Simple continental breakfast included, e.g. toast or cereal, or you can prepare your own if you have specialist dietary requirements. There is coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

We had a lovely stay with Amelia and Donna. The room was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The location was excellent, only 10 minutes into the centre of Brighton. Amelia gave us so much information to make the stay perfect . Amelia and Donna are really lovely people. We had a really lovely time. It was only for one night. Next time we will have to definately stay longer. Thank you.
Definitely a gorgeous experience ! Wonderful stay with an adorable family, welcoming, funny and very helpful. Lovely design house and ideal location closed to the core of the city, only 7 minutes by bus ! 26 or 46.
I had a great stay with Amelia and her family. The house was lovely; the room was like a boutique hotel and very comfy with a great en-suite. I had everything I needed. They couldn't have been more hospitable, and I would definitely book again.
Amelia and her family were absolutely lovely! I can’t imagine a better place to have stayed for a semester abroad, I’ll certainly be looking them up again whenever I come back to Brighton.
This was my first experience with Homestay and I loved it! Amelia and Donna were amazing, very nice and always helping. My room was lovely, I loved the window with the fairy lights and the view over the garden. I even got a bigger bed during my stay. I enjoyed some time in the hammock in the garden and eating self-made sushi with the whole family. I couldn´t imagine spending those 3 weeks any better! I will definitely come back next year! Thank you so much <3
Staying with Amelia was great. She welcomed me into her home with a smile and nice beverage. The room is very clean in addition it has a TV and internet free of charge. Amelia makes the healthiest yet delicious breakfast every morning. The house is within 1 minute walk from bus stop that will take you straight to the center of Brighton.

The bus stop is literally a 3 minute walk away
i Would definitely recommend this homestay offer, it was really a nice experience .
Amelia prepared for me a balanced and delicious breakfast based on my personal request. And she and her friend are both talkative and had a cool life experience. They knew a lot about Hongkong and Asia culture. So if you stay here you can not only have some tips for Brighton but also for Hongkong. I really had a great time there:-)
Very good house in a great location in central Brighton. The hosts were a lovely couple and had a nice time with them. The house was comfortable and and clean. The room was big enough and always tidy with great tv. It also had WIFI and the toilet very clean. The breakfast was good and everything they cooked was delicious especially teriyaki chicken and latte! When i arrived, the place was the same as in pictures. Thank you and I will miss you forever. Eshli.
