We are a fun, loud and busy family of 6. We live in a beautiful, 6 bedroom Victorian house only 25 minutes walk from the centre of town or 10 minutes by bus. The Gloucester Road is only 3 minutes walk from us. The Gloucester Road is home to people from all walks of life, where a rich variety of locally run shops, cafes, bars and restaurants manage to thrive alongside the usual high-street chains. In an increasingly standardised world, the Gloucester Road is a breath of fresh air. Restaurants, wine bars, cafes, pubs, toy shops, clothes and shoes shops, hardware stores, dry-cleaners, artisan jewellers, and mouth-watering bakeries sit next to graffitti-decorated pubs and each store reflects their individuality and expertise.
We are about 10 minutes drive from the countryside and not too far from both Universities, specially Bristol University. We have plenty of parks around us and tennis courts just across the road from the house.
We have 4 children although 2 of them are 20 and 18 and have now left home to go to University and the two younger ones are 11 and 12 years old. They are very busy during the week with school and other activities. My husband is a lawyer and works very hard. I am a social worker and work part time, mainly working from home. We have 2 friendly cats.
The guest room is in the loft of the house which means that it is very quiet and not much noise travels up from the floors bellow. Bright, Light and Airy Double bedroom with a king size bed, chest of drawers, wardrove rail, desk and chair, there is also a small TV where you can watch DVD's. The bathroom is next door to the room, which could be of sole use. We have a garden, a large kitchen, sitting room and study downstairs.
We are a bilingual family and Spanish is our second language, English being our main language. We love travelling and meeting new people! We can't wait to meet you.
I am happy to provide supper for £10 per night per person. Please no booking for less than 5 days.

Bus routes 3 min walk to City centre which is 2 km. close to Southmead and BRI Hospitals. Montpellier and Redland train stations are a short walk away. Bristol airport 25 min by bus.

House Rules
Respect for other people's privacy and space. No noise after 11pm. Smoking is only allowed outside, not in the house. The rental allows use of kitchen and dinning room. The rest of the house is for the family's private use.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
