About the Homestay
We are a friendly and welcoming couple with young children. We offer a relaxed and casual homestay and enjoy meeting people from around the world. I am British and my husband Jeremy is American, and so our family culture is somewhere in-between... tea and scones one day, Southern BBQ the next...
Our lovely home is an easy bus-ride from Bristol city centre, or you can ride a bike along the lovely cycle path that runs past our house.
We really enjoy family time, and we have two young sons, aged four and one. Our four-year-old son enjoys having overseas guests and will probably have many questions for you about your country and culture!
Our home is spacious, particularly the loft room for homestay guests, which can sleep a family of four. The room is bright and airy and there is enough room to relax and unwind, or even do yoga or other exercise.
Our neighbourhood of Fishponds is conveniently located close to the city centre and to the University of the West of England. You can take a bus to the centre or ride a bike along the beautiful Bristol-Bath bike path. Within a short walk are plenty of shops and cafes to enjoy. We love our city, so we are very happy to help you plan outings and share local knowledge with you. If you like playing music, we would love to hear you play and we have several instruments around the house. We love a good jam session, and Jeremy runs an open-mic in town.

About the Area
Our house is located in Fishponds, a family-friendly neighbourhood in the north-east part of Bristol. The bus stop is 8 minutes walk from our house, and you can take a single bus straight to the city centre. We also live just a minute's walk from the Bristol-Bath cycle path, which offers a green and traffic-free route into the city centre. Within ten minutes' walk are three large supermarkets and a good range of cafes and independent shops.

We have young children, so we appreciate having peace and quiet during their bedtime (between 7-8pm).
We prefer no shoes to be worn upstairs.
We do not allow smoking in the house.

I spent a wonderful time among this lovely family. They are really kind, helpful, cheerful and they love music a lot ! They have two very cute sons who will make your stay funny and amazing! I higly recommand you to stay at their place if you want to improve your English and have an unforgettable time in Bristol.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
