About the Homestay
A little about us :) We are are a young friendly family consisting of myself - a Kiwi in the UK working for a mental health charity, my partner - northerner working for a soft drinks company and our little girl aged 4 - generally just being cute. Our home is bright, spacious, clean and above all cozy. We are welcoming and accepting of all people and welcome a cultural exchange. We have 2 rooms available one big room with a kingsize bed, wardrobe, writers desk, drawers, bedside table and lamp. We also have a smaller room next door with a single bed available and an office also available if you need space to work. Downstairs is a shared area we have a large open plan lounge/dining area with sky tv, netflix, amazon video etc which you would be free to use. The kitchen is just next door to this and then a lovely well maintained garden. We are a sociable bunch but also respect privacy but we are always on hand to help you find your feet in London. We are based in Zone 4 with the train station (Shortlands) a 4 minute walk and Bromley high Street a 12 min walk. In Bromley there is lots to do on the high street there is a mall, two cinemas, great restaurants and bars (very good craft beer pub) etc and lots of local parks. We offer a light breakfast (included) which you can help yourself to what you like - cereal and toast and usually extras like bagels and yogurt etc. We can offer a packed lunch or dinner at extra cost but usually prefer not to offer dinner as a bit easier for us but if you do require this just drop us a message to discuss we can usually work something out :)

Hair Dryer included which was a massive bonus for me personally
The host also provided some very nice bath toiletries
The house is in a perfect location within 3 minutes walk to shortlands station with trains to London in under 15 minutes
I would 100% recommended this place the host is friendly personable and makes you feel at home the place is like a 5 star hotel.
I will definitely return on my next trip!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
