I live in Buckley with my Husband, we have been married for 32 years and have 4 grown up daughters, living in their own homes, however we are a close family and still spend a lot of time together. We live in a detached house on the edge of town. It has 6 bedrooms all ensuite , Dinning room, living room. Its an older style house, warm and cosy with full central heating, full sky tv including movies sports and internet access. Town garden with parking for 5 vehicles.
We are a Christian family and attend a Church in Chester.
Our family has been hosting for 30 years and we all have our up to date DBS certificates for your assistance. We can also provide you with references should you require them. We host children from the age of 5 years and upwards from as little as a few days at a time to 1 to 3 full school/college years.
Please note we are a HOST FAMILY and not a hotel, anyone who comes to stay with us will be treated as another member of the family and we expect our guests to treat us in the same manner.
Please note our price includes, accommodation, light breakfast for adults.
Accommodation, breakfast light packed lunch and evening meal for children and for students staying long term on a full immersion with us.
Additional Info
Buckley is a small town just outside the city of Chester and only a short journey to places like Liverpool and Manchester and the beach, its a great little location with a good regular bus service and train station.

About the Area
Our home is on the edge of town which means its very close to all the bus stops, shops, schools, gyms, swimming pool etc. Quiet friendly town. Approximately 8 miles from the City of Chester, 24 miles from Liverpool and 45 miles from Manchester. Great little location.

House Rules
We treat our guests as another member of our family, so normal family rules in the house apply. Take care of and keep clean your own personal space and clean the facilities after you have used them. Respect our home and everyone in it, remembering that it is a family home and not a hotel. We do not allow alcohol, smoking etc in our home.

I would definitely recommend anybody looking for accommodation with Avril to take it she was an outstanding host her home was beautiful, clean , and in a lovely area. My room was very large for a single room and all amenities was available even down to tea,coffee, and breakfast left in my room was an absolute pleasure to stay there, fantastic

Hi yes lovely stay and lovely people just one thing remember to bring ur slippers they ave a lovely stone floor down stairs but it was cold in ur stocking feet

Avril is a good host and the house was homely. It is situated minutes from the center of town and the bus stops. There is a community swimming pool close by and a library. Buckley is a good location to explore North Wales. There is a good market in Mold on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
