We live in a 3 bedroom house, occupied by myself, my husband and my son. We live in a quiet village in Great Shelford, Cambridge which is a lovely village close to Addenbrookes Hospital.
We have a train station, routes to Cambridge or London.
Local bus routes that go into Cambridge (via addenbrookes hospital, train station and city centre).
Cycle routes direct to Cambridge too (approx 25 mins)
We have a small single room available to rent with tv, internet. You will have full use of the kitchen and all the utensils, electric shower, washing machine. Towels and bedding included.
There is a large garden with decking and we overlook a field of approx 15 horses, so it is fairly quiet.
A small deposit will be required when booking and Full payment on arrival.
Stays welcome Mon-Fri also

About the Area
Great Shelford is a small village laying to the south east of Cambridge city. It has many facilities usually found in a small town including a dentist, doctors, butchers, hairdressers, bakers, chemist, optician, coffee shop, restaurant and public houses. In addition, there is an award winning Garden Centre and Farm Shop nearby. The village has a thriving local community and offers easy access to the city of Cambridge via railway, bus, or cycle way. The train station is a 5 minute walk away, with a 5 minute train journey to Cambridge and access to London. There is also a bus stop at the end of the street. Addenbrookes is a 5 minute drive away.

Meals

Please keep noise to a minimum after 11.00pm.
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
We would appreciate it if guests didn't wear outdoor shoes in the house.
We cannot accept animals.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
