I am friendly, easy going and love meeting new people. I work from home as a therapist. I share my home with a friendly house bunny called Willow.
Kitchen facilities include washing machine, oven and hob, freezer and fridge, water distiller, juicer, food processor, dehydrator, kettle. No microwave sorry :(
My home is clean, comfortable and modern. The room is large with a comfortable king size bed, with brand new memory foam mattress with new double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
I have some gym equipment here available on request.
There is an upstairs bathroom with shower in the bath and socket for shavers etc.
The garden is a reasonable size with table and chairs.
The number 65 bus route takes you into Colchester town via the hospital and also the train station. Which doesn't take very long.
Close to Colchester general hospital, Colchester rugby club, Colchester United football ground, David Lloyd gym, the A12 and Tesco and Asda within a short drive.

5-10 minute walk to Colchester United football stadium. 5 min drive to Colchester General Hospital. 20 minute walk to the train station. 25-30 minute bus ride into town centre.

About the Area
My house is a 3 minute walk to the bus stop for the number 65 bus route which runs every 10 minutes. This passes the hospital, the train station which is about 15 minutes away with easy access to London (50 mins on train), Ipswich and Norwich. The bus then heads onto the town centre which takes around 25 minutes. You would need to get the number 61 bus from the train station to get to University of Essex.
Train station, Colchester United Football Ground, David Lloyd gym with tennis courts and swimming pool, supermarket all within a short walk.
Plenty of activities and things to do in the town from bowling, sightseeing, swimming pool, gym, museum, cinema, library. Beaches 25 minute drive away.

House Rules
You must treat the property with respect and keep it clean and tidy.
Always be polite, courteous and friendly.
Respect that I work from home and do not interrupt client sessions.
No loud noise or music after 10.30pm.
No uninvited friends. Unless pre-arranged.
Smoking allowed outside.
Always make sure you lock the door when leaving.
Switch off plug sockets that are not in use.
Clean up after yourself, ie. Toilet, shower, kitchen.
Put all litter in the bin provided.
I will not tolerate stealing, damage to property, antisocial, flirting, aggressive or bullying behaviour.
If you cause damage or break something you will be asked to pay for it.
Payment and cancellations
I operate a 7 day cancellation notice. Any cancellations after this window will incur a 25% fee.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
