My home is clean and modern and has a double room to rent

a barbecue,I'm on a very good bus route into Colchester city its an interesting town the oldest Roman town with a vary nice park with a small castle
I all so have 2 train Station Nearby one of them on the bus route
I have doing this on and of for a few years now and enjoyed it very much
I live alone and am very easygoing and looking forwards to meeting new people.
I now have a very cute friendly dog she’s a therapy dog . But it doesn’t go into the spare room.unless you want her to
I’m close to a few shops with in walking distance or you can get a bus to the small shopping area at tollgate
I’m not far from Colchester zoo and a bus ride from Dedham and Flat ford which it’s known as Constable county ( his a famous Artist)
its a really lovely place to visit and you can also get a bus to Mersea island which is famous for its fish and oysters , they do a small boat ride round the island and you can get the ferry across to 3 other costal villages
Chelmsford is 20min by training and London is 60 minutes regular trains running
Just outside Colchester you have a swimming pool and leisure facilities and ten pin bowling
Colchester city has 2 cinemas, wine and cocktails bars and some vary nice restaurants , a nice park with a nice little castle it’s the oldest Roman town
Lots of different kinds of walks if that’s what you enjoy…

Good bus route in to Colchester bus number 65 runs every 10 mins
Train station is 15 min away Colchester to London is 50 mn
Ipswich and Norwich
We are a tourist town with with a lovely park and castle

Large swimming pool for children and adults
Local beach is about 20 minuts away fresh fish every day and nice walks coffee shops and pub and restaurants with boat trips a round the island can all so get a boat trip over to Brightingsea all a nice place to visit
I'm not close to Essex university it's 2 bus rides away takes about 50 minutes from my house and about 30minutes plus by car

Carolyn is a great hostess, she made me feel really welcome providing a great 'home from home'. I would thoroughly recommend.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
