Stay with me in my home in Eastbourne. I have available for guests, 1 large twin bedroom, with washbasin 2 .closets and large dresser. This room has wonderful sea views. The large lounge has steps down to a sheltered private garden overlooking the sea, which is a very short distance away. There are 2 other large bedrooms in the apartment, 2 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen and utility room.
I also give English lessons to students of all ages who are visiting from abroad, and I have a TEFL qualification. Eastbourne town centre is a 15 minute walk away, but there is also a local bus service.
Carol is 74 and enjoys socialising. She speaks English
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Carol offers qualified language instruction in her native language English. "One to one" English lessons can be arranged if required at a price per hour to be agreed.

About the Area
Our homestay is a really good choice in Meads. Once you complete your booking you'll get a mail with our complete address. Don't worry you won't have any problems finding us. I can help with transport tips too from central Eastbourne if necessary.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

There is a no smoking policy in the house and garden.
Please respect my neighbours and keep noise down, especially if coming in late at night,
Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
