COME TO LEARN ENGLISH OR JUST COME TO ENJOY A RELAXING/ FAMILY HOLIDAY NEAR THE SEA
We live in a 5 bedroom house, 5 minutes walking distance from Eastbourne's main shopping centre, train station and popular amenities.
Our family is a cosy foursome: Peter, my partner, is 45 years old and moved from Poland to England in 2004; Nicolas, our son, is 11 years old; Natalie, our daughter, is 9 years old and at last but not least there's myself, Lisa. I'm 41 years old, originally from Italy and moved to England in 2001.
Both my partner and I love cooking, especially BBQs. We also love outings and sports. Peter is fond of electronics and gadgets...fixing mobile phones and computers is his favourite hobby.
I love spending my spare time with my kids and my students at home. I like discovering different cultures and trying food/ recipes from different countries. I cook a lot with our guests/ students.
We have experience of working as a host family/guest house since 2005 and really enjoy every bit of it! We also run English Language camps. Additionally, I run an education agency that helps parents, families and students choose a language school to study at or help to find voluntary or paid work. If you wish to attend an English course don't hesitate to ask. We provide this service free of charge!

Our house is located in Eastbourne town centre in a centred position: we are literally 5 minutes walking distance from main amenities, restaurants, shops and clubs.
Eastbourne shopping centre, train station and main bus stations are all 5 minutes walking distance.
Eastbourne seafront is just under 10 minutes walking distance.
Closest language school is 5 minutes walking distance and the furthest about 25 minutes walking distance.
London, Hastings and Brighton are easily reached by train at 1.45 hrs,0.45 hrs and 0.40 hrs repectively.

Payment Method:
Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the total booking in advance to hold your room (on top of the 15% deposit is paid to Homestay.com)
Cancellation Policy:
We ask our guests to give us at least 14 days’ notice for any cancellation.
Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.
Please make sure payment reaches our bank account at least 2 weeks before arrivals.
Meals:
If you require half board or full board accommodation please feel free to enquire at the time of booking. Please see price list above.
We are usually able to accommodate any special diet or requirements as per list above
We may or may not charge extra for certain special diet requirements. Price to be agreed before completing booking.
Please note:
• 10% extra charges apply to Christmas holiday (from 20th December to 3rd January), and Easter week.
• Smoking is ONLY allowed in the back garden, NOT in the house.
• The house key must be returned to us prior your departure. In case of
lost key a charge of £50 will be applied.

We've had the most wonderful stay. Exactly what I was after: sharing great moments with the family.

Very very nice place to stay for my 6 students staying in Eastbourne for 4 weeks. Thanks to Lisa, they felt like home in a safe and welcoming home. The house is very clean and very well located. Everything was perfect in terms of food, laundry, wifi, TV in each room etc etc.. Again, thank you for hosting my girls and for your patience and trust Lisa!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
