Large family home close to the beach
Our 5 bedroom house is warm, friendly and welcoming. I live here with my husband and 2 sons, aged 19 and 11. We have a small friendly dog who is 7 years old. My older children live elsewhere and I have 7 grandchildren who often visit, but rarely all at the same time! We have 1.5 bathrooms, a large open plan lounge and kitchen/diner and a good size garden. We are very close to the seafront so great for promenade walks or visit to the beach in the evening after a busy day. There's lots to do in the local area and I'd enjoy suggesting places dependent on your interests from arts, history, nightlife or sports. You would be welcome to share family meals or events with us and laundry is possible, all by mutual arrangement (fees apply).

About the Area
Our house is a recentlly built property (2008) very close to the beach and public parkland. It is easily accessible by car and public transport. The town centre is walking distance, or a short bus ride away, and offers a wide range of facilities. Further a field there are towns of Bexhill-on-sea and Hastings and the city of Brighton, all offering different atmospheres and amenities.

House Rules
We are fairly flexible and easygoing however because of the children sleeping we are fairly quiet in the evenings and mostly in bed by 11pm.
No smoking inside the house and no overly drunk behaviour is acceptable either but moderate drinking is fine.
No visitors or non-paying guests allowed.
We respect our house guests and by return hope you will fit into our family routines and be flexible in use of the shared facilities.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
