About the Homestay
My house is on the edge of North West London. It takes around 45 minutes to get into Central London by tube and we have 2 parks and lovely countryside within a 10 minute walk. The room is bright and catches the sun in the afternoon. My husband and I and our small dog live in the house. We have grown up children who live elsewhere. There are 2 bathrooms in the house and you are very welcome to use our lounge and dining area and kitchen during the day. I work full time but my husband is retired so will be at home for most of the day. Our garden is medium sized and is lovely to sit in on warm evenings. My husband is a radio amateur and is into electronics. I teach maths and computer science and am working on gaining a qualification in full stack development. I also teach private students in their homes after school. I speak French and Spanish to a passable standard. My husband and I love meeting new people and you will be made very welcome. Our dog is very friendly and playful. At weekends either my husband or I may decide to go into London and you are very welcome to accompany us if it suits you.
